Today is Friday and once again school has captured my happiness and dumped it in a land fill only to give it back at the end of the day.By Second block English im tired this usually equals sleep or death by boredom, like normal I don't pay attention in that class cause its easy to me I mean what's the point of learning about a language we use all the time.
Suddenly a book is slammed on my desk with a pop and I'm jumping 10 ft in the air. "What's the answer smart girl," Mrs. Hakins says spitting in my face.
I talk while standing up anger filling my body." First, don't u never. Ever put your stank breath in my face again. Second, if you don't go sit yo stank wrinkly ass down and stop coming over here before I fuck you up" I grab my bag and walk out leaving her in shock.
I could feel the classes' eyes on me burning a hole in my back. I turn and say " Didn't yall mommas tell ya not to stare or did she leave u at the hospital" they quickly look away. my best friend starts to laugh and gets sent out too.
Where are we going u may ask? The answer is simple Detention duh.
The bell rings and i tell Mrs.Smith goodbye kissing her surpriseingly soft skin" Alright dear try and say outta trouble"she says smiling
"of course anytime for you" me and Zoe walk out. thats Zoe's mom part of the reason we met is because I was always in detention and she's get in trouble so she could come see her. she has altimerz and Zoe didn't wanna see her suffer
i walk into the cafateria and run to the pizza line hurridly getting my plate and sitting with Zoe who already has her lunch.
3 boys sit at our table and Zoe is the first to talk:
"Can you leave us alone with our boyfriends? we have some seroius making out to do"she says
" you Have a boyfriend Nova?" Nick says frowinng
"Yes," i say annoyed "now leave us"
"who " said another blonde who also looks like a nick says
Zoe grins "Why? are you jealous?" she starts to laugh as she says this."I dont know bout her but My boyfriend is about to be in my stomach." she says stuffing a nacho in her mouth looking at the others in lust. i join in stuffing my face with pizza and
" Zoe I like a girl that can eat" says Nick while winking
the guys leave
"All students and teachers evacuate the building immediately and go home year 18 Graduates tomorrow and we are sad to see them go."
"That's completely Bullshit," I say as I bust out the school doors and start the walk home through the woods.
My best friend/roommate laughs. " everyone know they so damn happy to see us go." She says. I wouldnt call us trouble makers but I won't call us saints. I hear a twig snap and we turn. I grab one my bow from the nearby tree loading it with an arrow.
A fox steps out and Zoe's arrow flies through that air into his chest killing him instantly. As she picks up he fresh meat I put my bow in its secret hiding spot and so does she.
"Do u think Jake could like me?" Zoe says quietly while walking. I look at her in surprise.
"Duhh you are gorgeous Zo" I say hitting her shoulder playfully. she grins at me
Walk-in through the forest I hear them before I see them, my family. I sigh and put on a genuine smile as we near the cottage. See we aren't the traditional mom, dad, sister brother family we are different Way different.
The people in my family are Me(17), 2 best friends Zoe(16) and Amaya(20) sisters jasmine(15) , Kiara(16 1/2)and baby brother jacks(16 1/2) See my biological parents died when my sister was born so I started making my own family. Jacks and Kiara are twins abandoned at an orphanage so before the could be put into the system I snatched them up
"NOVA, ZOE " they cry as I walk in the small cottage. the kids sneak and steal cookies outta the jar while my sister hugs me. There is nothing I would change about my life right now
The Next Day
Like clockwork,After we dropped the kids off at school, Zoe and I walk to our hellhole we call school ofc we are late to assembly like always and walk-in almost at the end. We stand at the back as 22 men in Black crowd the track
" As you know a new king has been elected in the past 100 year and will take no falsehood or lies., late arrivals or unplanned pregnancies And Yes the rumors are true... The kings' dragon died of old age 99 years ago and the egg laid has died .." I let out a gasp. Kilo was the last dragon and xee the last egg. King mike overthrew the last king by using dragons it was a long and bloody war I didn't know where to be angry or relieved " know this we are putting out soldiers in every town and they will attack if you don't know ur place" the head soldier looks around and says 6 words " this is King mikes world now!"
The 22 men still there as they release us to class and even there for our graduation...... killing a member of the crowd for each person that displayed rudeness during the service

Four years later. November 30th
My family and I walk outside. Today is jacks first hunting trip with the family. we go to our respective trees and grab our weapons. and I Call "head out" and we began the slow hunting trip creeding into the forest
Jacks stays behind me as Kiara runs the dead animals we have killed back to Zoe to skin. I see a deer and i let jack shoot. he pulls the string back takes a deep breath and lets it go. it injures its leg and it struggles to run away he chases it with me trailing him. while running he loads another bow and shoots at its head it lands on its target killing him instantly i hug him as he pants.
" Good job jacks" I smile but I hear a loud snap and I turn to push jacks behind me and drawing an arrow from my bow. A bloody man clearly on death row pops out and I glare at him and the suitcases he has
" help.... help me. Hide me...." He begs me
"No," I say "what's in the suitcase..." and I kick it
" No" he yells " Take me to ur home and you will understand.... plz young one" the amount of pity and helplessness in his eyes was all it took to load him up and take him home with me.
I walk to the house and tell the kids to go to bed early. Jasmine , Zoe and Amaya come out and inspect the bags while I treat him.
"Thank you.." he breaths " but don't waste ur supplies on me I'm a dead man.. I have 7 dragon eggs in that suitecase ." I gasp and the other girls come near
" This now is important so listen the eggs will hatch but die if not heated for two days.. hatch them and fight the king" he coughs and says " hide the eggs in ur fireplace and till you ate ready to move hide. Put me far away from this place and crack eggs in my suitcase so they will think they are dead when u leave take stuff for at least 6 years till they are big enough but remember one thing" he shakily says " A dragon is loyal to his or her master as long it'goes both ways a dragon can take many forms and a Dragon is a link for life.... Now we must go"
