~Jayceon POV
I ran over to her looking at her bloody nose and the bruises showing through her ripped shirt. "Can you walk?" I asked. She tried to get up but failed. "I got you." I picked her up and carried her to my car. I drove her to the hospital considering the condition she was in.

I pulled up to Mercy Hospital and carried an unconscious Morgan into the hospital. Once they took her to a room, I called Marquis.
"Did you get her?" He asked once he answered the phone.
"Yeah but I had to take to the hospital."
"FOR WHAT!" He yelled.
"He beat her up pretty bad. I killed him. I'm at Mercy." I said.
"I just got my tire fixed. I'm on my way."
I hung up the phone calling DeShaun and Landon letting them know what was going on.

~Marquis POV
I pulled up to hospital and ran in seeing Landon, Jaycee, and Shaun. "Where is my sister." Aaliyah said with tears rolling down her face. "Calm down they haven't come out here yet." DeShaun said. "How was she before you took her in?" I asked Jayceon. "Unconscious." He simply said. Fuck.
We had to wait about another 10 minutes for the doctors to come out.
"Morgan Daniels." He said walking in with the clipboard. Me and Aaliyah stood up. "I've got good news and I got bad news." He said flipping through the pages. "Although it took a while for her to gain consciousness, the good news is that she's awake. The bad news is that she is suffering from a mild concussion."
"Damn." I said.
"Can we see her?" I asked. "Of course. But she won't be able to come home til tomorrow." I nodded my head and followed him to the room.
"Morgan your family is here." The doctor said. He closed the door once we walked in. Seeing all the bruises on her face made my blood boil. "Where were you?" She asked looking at me dead in my eyes. "Mo I was coming to get you. My car fucked up bu-" She cut me off. "He told me he wouldn't let me go until you showed up. If Jayceon wouldn't have showed up, I could've had more than a concussion." She said with tears forming. "Mo I'm sorry." I said walking up to her.
"What did you do that made him hurt me?" She asked. "It's a long story." I said.
"Well if you're not going to tell it, get out." She said. "Mo-" She cut me off once again. "Get out." She said.
"Morgan you can't be serious right now." Aaliyah said looking at her in disbelief. "If you were in my shoes you would know." She said before laying down with her back facing us.
**Later That Night**
~Jayceon POV
I just got out the shower and I was hungry as hell. I put on a wife beater with some grey sweats and I put on some slides. I jogged downed the steps, grabbed my keys and got in my car. I grabbed my aux playing Right Now by Moneybagg Yo.
"I'm pourin' up lean, I'm throwin' back pills, I'm deep in the field right now

I come from the bottom, I could've got shot up, thank god I'm here right

I pulled up to the drive-thru of Wendy's. The line was long as hell but I didn't feel like going in. While I was waiting I got a phone call from Jayda.
"Wassup big head." I said answering the call.
"Where you at?" She asked.
"Wendy's."
"Ooouu get me something." She said.
"You got a car don't you." I laughed.
"You so aggy. But anyways what happened today at breakfast?" She asked.
"Emergency at the trap that's all." I didn't want to tell her the real reason so I just said that. I don't need her to know none of this cause she run her mouth way too much.
"Oh. I was just calling to ask. Goodnight." She said.
"Goodnight."
I hung up the phone with my thoughts leading to Morgan. I couldn't help but think about her being in the hospital like that for some beef that we started. I thought I should go visit her since it was only 8. When it was my turn to order, I ordered two four for fours. I shouldn't come empty handed.
~Morgan POV
I was switching through the channels on my TV when I got a call.
Blooda💉💕 would like to FaceTime...
"What?" I said when the call connected.
"You ain't got no fucking reason to be mad. I was scared as fuck thinking you could've been dead but you ain't. So whatever fucking attitude you got, calm that shit down. You still alive and fucking well." He said in a calm voice. Anytime my brother cussed somebody out, he never actually yelled.
"Okay." I simply said. I knew exactly what he was trying to say and I completely understood.
"Goodnight. Imma come get you in the morning."
"Okay. Love you. And I'm sorry."
"Love you too." He hung up the phone.
A few minutes later I heard a knock on the door. "Come in." I said. It was Jayceon. "What are you doing here?" I asked raising a brow. "Well I was getting food and I thought about you. I can't be nice?" He said. "I mean you can." I said. "Here." He gave me a bag from Wendy's. "My favorite" I said smiling.
~Jayceon POV
"I just want to thank you for today. I could've died if it weren't for you." She said eating her food. "I know how crazy yo brother and sister is about you. I couldn't live with myself if I caused them more pain with losing a loved one." I said.
We talked for a while and before I knew it, it was 9:30.
"Thanks for the food though. Seriously." She said sitting the bag on the table only for it to fall. "I got it." I said getting up and grabbing it. "Thanks."
We couldn't help but stare at each other. No words, just staring. I felt myself leaning in to kiss her. Just as I suspected , she kissed back. I took the trash throwing it out and walked back to my car.
I got in my car sitting there. How could I be so stupid. I can't be kissing her. I'm not ready to be connected with no female in any way. I can't do this.
