Chapter 7: The Scouts

The smell of blood and natural gas lingers in the air.

It was a sight to see, brave Garrison soldiers laying down their lives for something still unknown and terrifying to the majority of them. The trainees, who are out of danger, save for Mikasa and Armin, are oblivious to what is happening at Trost. Eren Yeager is speeding towards the core of town, 

This is it! We'll finally manage... An attack on the titans!

Eren clamps down on his hand, blood touching the air for a breath before the area is lit up in a blazing brilliance of lightning. 

There, right before Armin and Mikasa, is a fifteen-metre titan Titan with unruly dark hair and wild green eyes. Eren's Titan seems to observe Mikasa before he abruptly lashes out with his fist, directed right at her. The injury, thanks to Mikasa's level of skill, is just a profound scratch on the side of her face. Mikasa hooks onto the Titans' face and yells at him, shaking her fist.

Eren proceeds to punch himself in the face, before slumping down against the boulder, lacking his head, steam rising from the open wounds. 

"Two ten metre classes approaching!" One of the Garrison soldiers yell.

The mere thought of being eaten drove Armin to move. He heads down to Eren, landing on the small of his back.

"One metre wide, ten centimetres down" he mumbles"If I strike a little to the left... Sorry, Eren!" He yells, driving his blade into Eren's Nape.

It was like an earthquake to those on the ground. The rumbling of every footstep that the Rouge Titan took. He continued to drive his feet into the ground, step by step, metre by metre.

Armin... Mikasa... What are you doing here? You're going to get killed...

"Fight!" Armin yells. "FIGHT! FIGHT!" 

 Eren jams the boulder into the wall with an ear-splitting roar. At the sight of a yellow flare, the command centre on the top of the wall erupts in cheers.

"They did it... all these deaths haven't been in vain..." Rico murmurs, slumping to her knees.

Muscle ripping, Eren is pulled out of his Titan. His forehead is hot, and there are strange markings on his tanned face."Part of him is fused with the Titan!" Armin yells, titans quickly closing in around them as he speaks. 

A flash of green descends from the sky, and in the blink of an eye, all three Titans are collapsing onto the ground, napes cut out.
