Onlookers See Clearer

A/N: I hadn't been in a good mood for a while because of what's happening in Hong Kong right now and that's why I started to write again because thinking about Jerrie always makes me happier.

So here is a new one for you~

Jade stopped when she heard the faint mumbling again, and when she pressed her ear against the closed door, she wasn't surprised to figure out who was behind the door, even though she couldn't hear clearly what the words were, but there is no mistaking that cute sweet Geordie voice could only belong to Perrie.

The blonde had been acting secretive. It's definitely not the first time Jade caught her muttering to herself, sometimes staring at her phone with headphones on. It didn't seem like like a furtive act to her at first but when she asked Perrie about it, the blonde was quick to turn off the screen of her phone and emphasized it was nothing, but Jade knew Perrie long enough to know she was indeed, hiding something

Jade isn't one to pry into others' privacy because she understood everybody has something they would rather keep to themselves, herself included, but that doesn't mean she wasn't curious, and disappointed too, because the longer Perrie continued on this secret act means there is less time for the two to spend together and Jade definitely doesn't like it

She just loves having Perrie in her presence

On top of that, Perrie had also been a bit...odd, not only with the way she acted, but with the way she talked...especially with the choice of her words, and if Jade recalled it correctly, the change started last week...

It's a usual day when they had to wake up early for work, and when most tried to avoid dealing with a moody Perrie in the morning, Jade did the exact opposite and welcomed the blonde by engulfing her in a warm hug. It has become a ritual actually, ever since Perrie told her how her hug made everything better, and she could obviously see how the blonde's mood lifted after that and Jade was flattered, delighted even because not only she was able to make Perrie happy, but it also felt extremely good to have the blonde's soft body molded against her own.

Leigh and Jesy appreciated it too because according to them, Perrie is so much easier to be around after the hug, which Jade would never understand because Perrie is the sweetest and loveliest person she has ever met

The taller girl buried her face at the crook of her neck and nuzzled her nose against the tanned skin affectionately as she held the petite brunette just as tight, and soon let out a contented sigh before pulling away and greeted Jade with those sparkling blue eyes and pearly teeth, and if it weren't for her arms around the taller girl's neck and the porcelain arms around her waist securely, Jade was sure she had fallen to the ground already, because she was swooned, so swooned over the glamorous woman in front of her

As if it wasn't hard enough for Jade to remain conscious, Perrie has to make it more difficult

'Do you know you have the ability to take away my abhorrence of early morning, babe?"

She whispered sweetly in her hoarse morning voice and Jade could only gaze at her with widened eyes because it was just too much to take in at the same time.

The lovely baby blue was drowning her, the strong porcelain arms were holding her protectively, the hot raspy voice was sending heat to her lower abdomen, the sugary words were surprising and making her felt all these butterflies

"Um...i-it means you are the reason why I don't hate early morning anymore"

Perrie quickly explained, flusteredly and a bit awkwardly, and Jade immediately was pulled out of her shock state because Perrie was just too adorable
