Year 2020
It was the end. No more vlogs, no more challenges, no more covers, no more songs, no more Roadtrip.
The band had a very tough break after their new song got a high of 98th place in the album charts and their manager left them. They had no manager, no song writer, and no recorders this means they had to make the hard decision to break up.
(Andy's p.o.v)
"Okay boys are you all ready"
They all in unison answered a simple no shaking their heads
The video we made was short, only 3 minutes and 27 seconds to be exact but that's all we needed we said our goodbyes and at the end revealed the secret word
"Roadtrip on three 1,2,3 OCTOPUS"
(dont ask why I think its octopus)
it was sad and we all sheded tears but the video ended like any other just a little change in words. You see, instead of the original
"thanks for watching were Roadtrip"
it was
"Thanks for being here we've been roadtrip"
And that was it. The world would now know that roadtrip is over. We didnt even edit it as robbie, Conner's and alex all quit, we just posted it on YouTube 30 seconds after we stopped the video
We all were just sitting there in silence until finally brook spoke up
"Were still going to be best mates right?"
We all looked up at him then looked around at eachother for another 30 seconds until finally rye said
"Yeah of course we will always be mates . It takes alot of effort to throw away 5 years of friendship"
Me Jack and sonny all replied with
"ya that's true, we will always be best mates"
Mabey what rye had said was true, it sounded like it should be right. I mean we were best mates and we said our friendship would never break but
That didnt stop the going out together once a week to once a month, that didnt stop the boys from moving out and into separate flats in different parts of the city.
What rye said didnt stop the names in our phones from changing from.
"Rye🥵💗" to Ryan Beaumont or from "🎸❤fovvs" to Andy Fowler. It didnt stop us from not spending money on Christmas cards (gotta save that dollar innit😂) and still meeting up less and less every month.
And if we only talked the occasional time when we accidentally walked into eachother at Asda or rye didnt tell us about him and his girlfriend getting married no one i mean no one needed to know
All that us boys knew about eachother was that we saw eachother 1 day of the year usually less since atleast one person couldn't make it and always ended up spending most of the time on our phones casually giving eachother side looks and glances.
It may be possible that us boys havent seen eachother since 2026 and it was now 2032 and I was still single wishing I could have done things differently but knowing their was no way at all of stopping time and rewinding the clock
It was a cold January morning and I decided to go to get some cereal at 1130pm Little did I know that that early, early morning probably changed my life. For the better...Mabey but you'll just have to wait.
