She lived 60 minutes away
His muse
The one he would always choose
With the little money he had saved for lunch
He bought the red roses she loved
The ferrero Rocher that she always craved
He stood infront of the mirroe
parted his hair the way she always told him to
Thinking of her delicate smile
Her eyes lighting up
He wore her favourite "superman" shirt
One click
Cancelled all his appoinrments
Missed his class
And spent 1 hour travelling
to get to her
But when he opened the door
She lay on her bed
Her soul hanging by a thread
Her eyes swollen and red
He went to comfort her
Softly he touched her face
She said she needed space ..
