"Are you ready, Miss Eden?" A muffled voice dressed in gray and a doctor's mask sits Eden down at the table where there's a silver blue-case next to her. She tucks her minty green strands behind her ear and tilts her head slightly, eyes closing so she doesn't feel the needle prod around the inside of her ear. "Three, two..." the voice fades and Eden's eyes open wide.
She's not in a white room anymore. There's a somber sky and lavender everywhere. Eden's fire-colored irises shift to a green hue and she senses a disturbance in the environment. Something is off.
Tell us what you notice, the voice in her head says. It's the same voice that was speaking to her in the barren room she was just in moments before. She clutches onto her yellow pioneer styled dress and grazes the scene.
"The air is not clear. Something is disturbing the aura around me," she whispers, crouching down into the lavender until the flowers were taller than her.
