Chapter 31

Lisa's PoV

I woke up on the right side of the bed. I was cuddled by Jennie. My face is in her chest as she hugs me. I love this girl. I wouldn't ask her to marry me if I don't love her. I have almost lost her and I will not take that risk again.

I sniffed in her scent and I smiled. Waking up next to the person you want to grow old with is probably the best thing. I carefully removed myself from her embrace as I replaced myself with a pillow.

I took in Jennie's facial features because those were too good to be true. It's like everything that she has looks good on her, like they were handpicked to be on her.

I did my morning routine before going out of the bathroom. When I went out, my fiancé is still sleeping. Fiancé. I smiled.

I was about to go out when I saw her phone ringing. I wanted to respect my girlfriend's privacy but the call is disturbing Jennie's sleep. I was about to put her phone in silent mode when the caller's name caught my attention.

Hanbin calling...

I wondered why. Why would you call the person who broke up with you? I mean, yeah. Ex's can be friends but not when it's still fresh.

I didn't pick it up. I just put it in silent mode, I still respect her privacy. I pecked a kiss on her temple before going out.

"Hey, buddy!" I greeted Leo when I saw him in the garden with Jennie's cousins

"Babba!" Leo called out and he ran to me

I carried him as I walked to the Kim's. They were smiling as they are looking at me.

"Finally! Here comes the no longer a bachelor!" Taehyung said

"I just wanted to say thank you to you. It wouldn't be possible without you guys," I told them

"Grandchildren would suffice as a thank you, Manoban!" Mr. Kim said that made me chuckle

Leo is playing with Taehyung and Momo. While I and the other Kim's are just talking about something. Then I got an idea.

"Where are you going?" Joy asked

"I'm going to prepare breakfast," I said

"We got that already, Lisa," Mrs. Kim replied

"Breakfast for my fiancé, Mrs. Kim," I stated and she smiled sweetly

I went to the kitchen and I prepared the ingredients that I will need. I will just make her pancakes since it's the only thing that I can perfect.

I am preparing the flour when I felt arms creeping on my waist. A smile automatically crept on my face then I pulled her arms to hug me even tighter

"This is sweet," I said

I loosened the hug as I faced her. I cupped her face because I want to put flour on her and also because I want to kiss her, so I did.

Her eyes were still closed when I removed my lips from hers.

"One more," She said so I pecked her lips once again

"Moreeeee!" Jennie pouted and I just laughed before turning to the pancakes

"What are you doing, love?" She asked

"Pancakes for you and my Leo," I replied when she went to the kitchen counter

She went to the garden to greet the others as I continue to make the pancakes. When she came back, the pancakes were done and we started eating. The others were apparently done with their breakfast
