Chapter 9

Jennie's PoV

It's been a while after the conference. The Tigers have won their second match even though Manoban was not for training for two days. Speaking of Manoban, she went back to talking to me but she started calling me something that made me uncomfortable. She's calling me unnie now! I know it's a sign of respect but I don't need her calling me that!

Also! She stopped annoying me! If I annoy her, she will just shrug it off and she will smile at me. Why is she so nice all of a sudden? She has a clean record! Ever since the conference, she has never been in trouble. Why is she changing?!

"What's with the face, Jennie-unnie?" Lisa asked when she sat beside me

It's our lunch break and the basketball team asked us to just stay in this place of theirs that is located in the car parking but Jisoo isn't with us.

"What?" I asked

"Your face. Your brows are creasing," Lisa explained

"Just thinking of some changes," I answered and she nodded

"Where is Jisoo?" Lisa asked

"It's really weird how you call me unnie and the others not," I voiced out

"Well, it's different if it's my friends," And that made me look at her

"No! Not like we're not friends! But these people are my bitches. Respect is not a thing for them," Lisa explained but I'm not buying it

There are times when she calls Chaeyoung and Irene by their names but it's all Jennie-unnie when it comes to me.

"Anyway, I have no idea where Jisoo is— oh there!" Chaeyoung then pointed at the running Jisoo

"Lisa! Lisa!" She called as she ran to us

Lisa looked at her weirdly. Jisoo stopped to catch her breath and she faced Lisa.

"What?" Lisa asked

"You know the football team?" Jisoo asked

"Who wouldn't?" Ten sarcastically replied

"Well! Here's the tea! They're looking for Lisa!" Jisoo said

I suddenly became worried. The football team looking for Lisa? It's not a good thing, for all we know, they might be looking for a fight.

"Why?" I asked

They all looked at me as if there's something wrong with what I said.

"I don't know but there must be something behind that creepy smile of theirs. They're in the basketball court making a mess," Jisoo said

"They said that they would ruin the court if Lisa won't come out," Jisoo continued talking

I felt Lisa stood up from sitting next to me. Everyone is waiting for her next move and she grabbed her bag.

"I'll teach them who's boss," Lisa said and she walked away

"Is she gonna be okay?" Irene worriedly said

"Hopefully. It's been a while since she's been in trouble, she turned over a new leaf!" Seulgi replied

"Should we follow her?" Ten asked

Everyone was silent and Bambam and Seulgi gave each other a knowing look.

"Yeah, I think we should," They said in unison

Everyone hurriedly got ready and we walked to the basketball court. There were a lot of students around the football team and Manoban.

"Here comes your friends, Lisa," Kai said with a teasing smile and Manoban let out a sigh when she saw us
