Perfect With You - Loki Laufeyson x Reader

Hey guys! *waves* This is one of my first fanfics/one shots so please go easy on me, but any feedback is welcome.

"Loki, seriously I'm fine." You said as he starts to rush you back to your quarters. You were his fiancé, and it was the day before your wedding. Conveniently, you were sick.

"You are most certainly not fine y/n. You're burning up and it looked like you were going to going to faint while we were decorating!" He sounded upset, and you decided you'd better follow his orders, rather than face the wrath of your mischievous love.

"Ok so maybe I'm a little sick. But I can't be sick! We have a wedding to prepare for!" You replied.

"The wedding plans will still go on even if you are resting safely in bed. I'll make sure of it. And we can't have you sick tomorrow can we, love?" By now you two were back to your chambers, and he had stopped and lifted your chin to look at you while he talked.

"Very well, but if anything goes wrong, will you please tell me?" You pleaded. This was going to be the most important day of your life, and you wanted everything to go perfectly.

"No I will not. You just rest here, and as I told you before, I will take care of everything."

You pouted slightly, but obliged when he pointed towards the huge bed in the center of the room. You changed into your bedclothes and crawled into bed. Loki sat down beside you gently.

"Is there anything you need?" He asked.

"No. Yes. Just for tomorrow to be perfect...and an ice pack."

He reached out and softly touched your cheek. You felt the coolness of his frost giant powers transferring onto your burning skin, and it felt soothing. He leaned forward and kissed you.

"Everything is going to go perfectly, as long as I have you by my side."
