There was a soft knock at the door before Sebastian entered Ciel's room. It was a colder morning than usual, even though it was summer. It was raining outside and all you could hear on that quiet morning was the rain hitting the window. Sebastian walked over to the one window in the room and quickly opened the curtain to let in the little light that there was outside. The sun was hidden behind the thick clouds in the sky. Even so, Sebastian still considered it a beautiful day because it was another day spent with the young master.
Sebastian walked back out the open bedroom door to get the cart, which had Ciel's morning cup of tea and the morning paper placed on top, that he left outside the room. By the time he re-entered the room Ciel was starting to wake up. He squinted and groaned when he saw the light coming through the window. He put his head back down onto his pillow and covered his eyes with the blanket.
Sebastian walked up to his bed side and quickly uncovered him. "Good Morning, young master. How are you feeling on this fine morning?"
Ciel stood up in his bed and mumbled a"good morning" which was barely audible. He turned his head to the side so Sebastian couldn't see that he was blushing from the thought that the first person he saw when he woke up was none other than Sebastian.
Sebastian smiled and handed Ciel a warm cup of tea and the morning paper. Ciel finished his tea and Sebastian took the cup from him and put it on the cart. He then began changing Ciel into his usually everyday outfit. This was all done in complete silence, you could even hear the rain from outside. When Sebastian was done changing him, he left the room with a silent bow and pushed the chart he brought out with him. He made his way downstairs and into the kitchen and began preparing Ciel's breakfast.
When he finished making the breakfast, he covered the plate with a metal lid. He then proceeded back to Ciel's bedroom were Ciel was patiently reading the newspaper. When he heard Sebastian walk into the room Ciel turned his head towards the doorway and gave a half smile when he saw Sebastian. This was something that would rarely happened and when it did it probably meant that you are someone very special to him. Sebastian would figure it out eventually, but not just yet.
Ciel got up from where he was sitting, folded up the newspaper and handed it to Sebastian. Sebastian took it and followed Ciel to the main dining hall.
Sebastian helped him have a seat at the head of the table and placed his napkin around his neck. He did not want to make Ciel wait any longer then he already has and he knew that he must be hungry so he rushed into the kitchen and grabbed Ciel's breakfast.
He walked back to the dining hall and placed the his meal in front of him. He lifted the cap letting out all the steam which was crowded around the food trying to escape. Sebastian explained to Ciel what he was eating this morning and then left the room back into the kitchen to prepare Ciel's next cup tea.
He entered the quiet kitchen and let out a deep sight. He backed himself against the door not wanting anyone to see the deep blush he had on his face. He look up at the ceiling and thought back to the smile Ciel gave him this morning. This made him blush even more. He put his had over his mouth and softly chuckled.
He then realized that he had to prepare Ciel's next cup of tea and laughed again.
In the meantime, Ciel was slowly eating his breakfast and stuck deep in thought and paid no attention to his surroundings. 'Does Sebastian like me the same way I like him or not?' was all he could think about for the past month after Sebastian saved him from a very unexpected incident when an angel, by the name of Angela, wanted to "clean" everyone and tried to kill him.
Once he was finished with preparing the tea he heard a sound similar to the clatter of plates and realized that around this time everyday May-Rin is suppose to put back all of the plates in the cupboard. May-Rin was known for her clumsiness and her awkwardness. Sebastian rushed backing into the dining hall just in time. The plates were about to topple onto Ciel when Sebastian jumps into a run and in the quickest movement he lifted Ciel out of his chair and onto his left shoulder and with his other hand he grabbed all of the falling plates in order as they fell. Just as the last plate landed on top of the rest, Sebastian placed them softly, without a sound, on the table. He rolled his shoulder for a second and straightened his back, still holding Ciel, and then picked up the plates again. He headed toward the cupboard in a sort of jog, placing the plates in the cupboard and headed back to Ciel's seat.
