Operation 9: Ambush the Ambusher

Y/N: "We did, the Soviet."

Itami: "Yeah, and if anything happens, we still have Aliied's Chronosphere." Tanya hits the brake making us jerked forward.

Y/N: "Chrono-"

Tanya: "-Sphere." We sat in silence for a whole minute.

Y/N: "Eva?" She handed me a radio

Y/N (Radio): "Base, do you read?"

Base (Radio): "Go ahead, Sir."

Y/N (Radio): "Where the hell are you?"

Base (Radio): "We're in Golf-Zulu, Sir."

Y/N (Radio): "We need a Chronoshift back to base."

Base (Radio): "Copy that, Sir. Standby."

Y/N: "Why don't you think faster, Itami?"

Itami: "Well..."

Base (Radio): "Sir, we got your location. Starting Chronoshift."

Y/N: "This is not over."

We arrived at the Allied base in Ginza and rest there. In the morning we heard the news about the Soviet base got destroyed by a big explosion that appears to be a nuclear explosion, one of the few survivors in the area explained 'The streets were like a scene from hell'. Unfortunately, Prime Minister of Japan got caught in the explosion, making the way for a new prime minister who has a 'common interest' with the Allied. In the aftermath, we send a relief force to Japan and our condolence to the Soviets.

How did the Soviet respond to this? Well, they are preparing another MCV for sending it to Japan. I'm inside the Construction Yard, having a conversation with the President and General Carville while the rest of the Third Recon plus people from the Gate are headed to Ginza Memorial. Mr. President is on the screen while General Carville and I are standing side by side.

Carville: "Mr.President, we should stop wasting our time and teach them a lesson!"

Y/N: "I'm not so sure about that. That TwinBlade could easily shred our Grizzly Tanks."

Carville: "Then we'll just-"

Y/N: "They'll expecting that. We need something better than just jump right to Moscow."

Dugan: "Generals. what if we're gonna attack them?"

Y/N: "Sir, I do not advise-"

Dugan: "That's why I said IF."

Y/N: "Sir, two years ago, Chicago was razed to the ground. What's next? Washington? New York? There's no possibility of us winning this war."

Carville: "Which is why we need a new weapon."

Dugan: "General?"

Carville: "We are developing a new superweapon. It's a giant vacuum cleaner."

Dugan: "I'm sorry, what?"

Carville: "A giant vacuum cleaner, Mr. President. We believe this new WMD would bring the end to the Soviet forces."

Y/N: "Mr. President, fighting a small battle with them was fun, but a total war, not so much. We don't even know if this new weapon will work or not."

Carville: "Then what's your suggestion?"

Y/N: "All we could do is to put our Navy on standby in case of an invasion. I would recommend sending our forces to Poland for...' friendly visit', Sir."

Carville: "Hmmm...not a bad suggestion, I might say. If a war broke out, we can fight in Warsaw and not risking the whole of Europe."

Dugan: "What about the Soviet's MCV that's heading for Japan?"
