"And how do I go about that?" I asked, raising an eyebrow as I finished peeling the last winter apple. Now I just needed to slice them in bites. I pulled a knife from a drawer and got to work.
"There is a hot spring less than a day's ride from here," Yirlitá said as she ran a hand down her chin. "it is well secluded, been in my family for years."
"And?" Yirlitá smirked at me.
"Tis high time you and Murtagh took a few days to yourselves."

Murtagh packed the supplies that would last the few days we would be gone as I said goodbye to Selene. Naturally, the baby had no idea what was going on, but Fen was a different case.
She had been moping around the treehouse all morning as we gathered items we would need, and she certainly wasn't being very subtle. Handing Selene off to Yirlitá, I turned to Fen and crouched down in front of her.
"It's only for two days," I gently reminded her. Fen blew air out of her lips in exasperation.
"But how will I visit Nádhos," Fen whined back. "he said that next time I visited him, he'd show me some new seeds he acquired!"
"You saw him yesterday, Grifen." I reminded her. "Nádhos also has a business to run."
Fen huffed as Alethea brought her nose down and nudged her in the side.
"Little one, when was the last time you shared your learning with the egg?" I inwardly smirked, Alethea knew exactly how to distract the growing child. Fen perked up, letting out a gasp.
"I haven't updated it in days!!!" She squealed, her voice making it sound like the world was ending. "I am such a bad friend!"
In seconds she had given me a quick hug before running to Murtagh to hug his legs.
"See you in a few days!" She called over her shoulder as she sprinted back towards the treehouse."
"I am trying to figure out if that was manipulative or smart," I commented before looking at the smug face of my Dragon. She puffed out a plume of smoke.
"I'd go with the latter." Rolling my eyes, I glanced at Murtagh and saw that he had packed up all of our supplies.
"Tis a beautiful day for flying," Yirlitá called to us as she stepped away from the vicinity of our Dragon's wings. "enjoy yourselves."
"Yirlitá has shown Alethea and Thorn how to get to the hot springs," Murtagh said as he walked over to me. "I think it'll take about four hours if Alethea behaves."
"Are you trying to imply something?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at him.
"Not at all," He returned with a wicked smirk. "you two just have a habit of Arial acrobatics."
I huffed at him before turning to Alethea's bright white side and jumping up. My hands latched onto the saddle she wore shortly before I settled my body onto the soft leather.
"Ariel acrobatics?" Alethea huffed in my mind. "I'll show him!"
"Alethea don't even—" Alethea lunged into the sky, leaving Murtagh and Thorn far behind as she slingshot her body higher and higher. I held onto her necklace as she flew at a breakneck speed.
