~Coralia's POV~

Romeo's friend, Luke, who I'd never met before, eventually did end up showing up, though it was a little after five PM. I guess I couldn't get mad at him, though, because I hadn't established any set time with him. He hadn't even set one with Romeo, either. At least he knew he might've been a bit late, so that was a plus.

I was sitting on the couch with Romeo when I heard the front door being knocked on, causing me to jump in surprise at the sudden sound. I almost thought maybe he wasn't going to be here after all. As quick as possible, I hopped up off of the couch and took long strides over to the door, swinging it open. I hadn't really expected anything unusual when I opened the door, but I couldn't help but to feel surprised when my eyes landed on Luke. The first thing that I realized was that he was fucking tall. Another thing I noticed was that he was really, really fucking beautiful.

Not wanting to creep him out, I just gave him a friendly smile. "Hi." I greeted, stepping to the side. "You can come inside." I said, my words causing him to immediately walk into my apartment. As he passed me, the scent of citrus and pine wafted into my face, which I actually found I liked. He smelled pretty good.

After I shut and locked the door I turned towards Luke, who was looking down at Romeo on the couch. "Hey. I didn't know you'd be here." Luke said, still standing just a little taller than Romeo once he got up. "Yeah. Lia wanted me to be here in case any of the people were creeps." He explained, shrugging his shoulders. At that, Luke got a confused look on his face and looked down at me. "Lia? Then...where's Coralia?" He asked in confusion, his brows furrowed. I couldn't help but to laugh, shaking my head. "No, I'm Coralia. A lot of people just call me Lia." I said, peering up at him.

A look of understanding came over his face and he nodded his head, gesturing between Romeo and I. "So, you're the one who he's al—" Luke started to speak, but Romeo smacked him hard on the chest to shut him up. I raised a brow as Luke rubbed the spot and sent Romeo a look, frowning. "Um, yes. We're, you know, fuck buddies." I said bluntly, causing Luke to immediately look back down at me in surprise. He looked completely stunned that I had actually said that so outright. "Oh." He said, a glint in his eye. I frowned a little and brushed it off, not knowing why he looked at me like that. It wasn't creepy, it was more as if he knew something that I didn't.

"Anyways," I started, deciding to change the subject. "Let's get this thing over with, then." I smiled, beginning to lead him through the apartment.

Luke followed me as I first showed him the kitchen and the laundry room, trying to gauge how he was feeling by peering at him closely. It didn't work much, though. He didn't seem to let anything about how he felt show on his face, other than the fact that he appeared thoughtful of something. I wished I could tell how he was feeling because I was a little nervous that he would turn me down. He was the last option I had. "All the appliances work good, right? No problems with anything?" He asked, glancing over at me as we left the kitchen. "No, they're all good." I answered, shaking my head. That seemed to satisfy him at least a little because he nodded his head and gave me a light smile, allowing me to lead him into the living room. "Well, you've seen this room, but you can look around again if you want." I said to him, my eyes meeting Romeo's as he peered at me from his spot on my couch.

While Luke took his time examining his surroundings, Romeo gave me a little grin and tossed me a wink. When he added in a thumbs up, I couldn't stop myself from smiling, flipping him the middle finger in a joking manner. As Luke and I left the living room, I patted Romeo on the chest and playfully squeezed his bicep. He must've known what that meant because he chuckled softly as we left. Really, all it meant was that I owed him one, since he was the one who told Luke about me needing a roommate. I needed someone to help me out so desperately that I would've been willing to even call Rami, and I don't even really like Rami too much. He's nice, but a bit...creepy.
