Y/N

Moonlight quietly pushed herself off of a stack of boulders as we went after the riders were at a far away distance. But we quickly caught up then them, but remained camouflage with the white fog around the area. "The ear plugs are working, Hiccup." A male voice replied. "Great. Now let's get in closer. Everyone on high alert." He said while diving in. "No kidding." Another male added on. We dove in as well, grimacing at the Dragon skulls in the amber below. I heard A light screech as the hatchling was struggling to sleep.

"Oh, no. Hiccup." A female rider said with slight panic. "Yeah, got it." Hiccup do as while hovering, all the rest did the same as we hid behind another large rock boulder. But the rider with the Razorwhip was humming very loud, a rider and Gronkle flew to them and tried to quiet Garf down as amber came flying at them. "Fishlegs!" she cried,  while dropping Garf. "Heather!" He cried, as he was falling to the ground below, where a beautiful adult Death Song appeared, roaring melodically.

"Remember, if we don't bunch up, it can't- Gah!" He almost couldn't finish as multiple amber went flying at them. "Heads up!" He shouts, but the Monstrous Nightmare, Nadder, and Zippleback all get hit and plummet to the ground. "Aah! I forgot how much I hate this guy!" He remarks, falling to the ground as the girl in her madder looked to see the tail covered in amber and looks back to the Death Song landing in front of all them. It roars melodically again and growls at them, it's eye slitted and baring its teeth.

'Does it remember them?' But I idiotcally fall of Moonlight's back and the Death Song snaps his head and runs to me. Roaring intimidatingly to scare me, but I knew it was just weakness and stand my ground. Growling lowly as Garf comes flying down and begins to cry. "Never thought I'd be happy to hear that." The rider comments, the adult Death Song turns his attention to Garf and spits out a small splash of amber. Garf does the same.

The Death Song then sings his lovely melody to Garf, he doesn't respond as he sings it again for a second time. Garf screeches a different song as the riders look at each other with slight worry. But the adult Death Song lowers his head and sings once more, encouraging Garf to sing its song.

Garf begins to sing the same song as Hiccup and Toothless land, mounting off of him as he spoke. "Hey, I think they're bonding." He replies, and as Garf finished the Death Song smacked Garf away to a wall. "Garf!" I screamed in worry, as the Death Song fired amber at Hiccup and Toothless. As I was running toward them, the Death Song stood in my way, Moonlight came out and stood defensively in front of me.

"Wait." I whisper quietly to her, she backs down and walks behind me. Still lowly growling as I walked slowly to the Deathsong and sing his song. Both the riders and the Death Song was surprised, he lowered his head and in front of me and roared melodically again as I sang it back.

He nuzzles his head to as I gently stroke under his jaw, but Garf could be heard singing again as the Death Song growls and walks over to him. However, the rider who supposedly was humming the tune, was cut off by another with a attitude.

"Fishface! What are you doing?" He whispers harshly, he stutters as he tries to come with a explanation. "I'm sorry, I hum when I'm nervous." He said. "Hum later! I heard they love humming in Valhalla." He growls. "Hey, that's my favorite lullaby, and I was the one who taught it to Garff." I shake my head in frustration.

"That's the problem. Your singing the song you all taught him, and the Death Song wants Garf to sing his own song. The Death Song doesn't like any of them." I turn my head to see the Death Song growling lowly at Garf as he runs behind a wall.

The Death Song roars in anger and walks over to the riders, roaring melodically once more and huffs right after. "So, what do we do?" The blond rider with the Nadder asked me. "Keep singing? Maybe we can find a song it does like instead of his own." I told them. "I'm sorry, but I'll need some time to prepare. This golden throat is a very delicate instrument." The Death Song picks up the boy with his jaw as he started singing .

"Oh, Death Song, oh, Death Song You're big and bad and you kill a lot

And you spit out goo That looks like snot!."

"Help!"

"Ooh, it's a scary, scary, bad dragon He's gonna kill us all He's gonna kill us I hope he doesn't I hope he leaves soon."

"Hey, that doesn't rhyme." A rider pointed out. "Oh, like it knows." He shouted, but the Death Song roars melodically again as he drops the rider. "Aah! Okay, sorry."

"The hotness of your goo gives me deja vu -"

"Yep, that's it. Much better." She replies, the Death Song was about to sing again but he got cut off again.

"The beauty of your wings Makes us all want to sing!"

"Want to sing."

"Want to sing."

"Want to sing Want to sing, want to sing."

The Death Song was almost enjoying it fully as Garf come all the way out. But then...

"All of us want to sing your death song We all want to be like you and growl."

The Death Song lunges for her, but Garff flies up and sings melodically at him. He flies up higher as he sings it again, and the Death Song flies up as well. Singing in perfect harmony as Garff looks down at all of us. "Go on, Garff, it's okay." I encouraged him. He sings again and leads the Death Song away from all of them.
"Wow! Woo-hoo!" The screeching female rider cheered. "I don't believe it. Garff saved us." Hiccup said in disbelief.

"Yep, we saved him, and he saved us." Heather said, looking up at the sky with full happiness. "I just had a thought. Now that they're both on the same team, what's stopping them from both eating us?" And as he was talking, Hiccup pulled out his blade and ignited it.

Completely destroying the amber off of them. "Hiccup, that's brilliant! If you find the weak spot in the cocoon, the rest will crack and fall apart." I said like a full on child. "Exactly. Now, let's get out of here before they get their appetites back."
