I’ve never been particularly one to be entranced by nature. For that matter, I’ve never been one to really be entranced by anything- but especially not nature. I’ve heard of what people think of nature: majestic, freeing, ethereal.
But, I’ve never understood it. What is so grande about a neverending chain of death? The only word I could ever use to describe it is fragile. If one species were to be hunted too much, then they’d die off. And then their predator would starve or find new prey, and then they too would perish. In time, all species will vanish, with no exceptions. How could anyone consider that majestic? Ethereal? I for one don't find the impending doom of mankind necessarily freeing.
But one thing I’ve learned, while eyeing nature. Everyone has a purpose, even if that purpose is only to die. And that’s no difference when it comes to Man.
