Before I Left

Chapter Two

"This is a nice place, Sasuke. why didnt ya wanna bring me ?" Naruto asked. "Hn." Sasuke sat on his couch in front of his flat screen tv. "Play station?" He asked. Naruto nodded a yes before sitting next to Sasuke. While the game was loading Naruto said exactly what Sasuke was thinking. "This is weird." Sasuke turned his head to look at him. "what? Not use to hanging out with friends?" Sasuke said to annoy Naruto. "No! i have friends that i hang out with ! I just meant its weird hanging out with...you." their game began and they turned their attention to the tv. They played a few minutes before sasuke asked "What friends do you have? If you can name just one, ill be impressed." Naruto was getting angry. 'calm down. This is Sasukes way of talking.' he thought.  Naruto replied, slight annoyance in his voice  "You act like you have friends." Sasuke smirked, amused. "Yeah because i choose not to have friends, but everyone likes me and for some reason, Naruto...nobody likes you." Naruto usually didnt get angry. he was always a happy go lucky person, always ranting about being Hokage. So it was a suprise when Naruto put the play station controller down and got up. "Im leaving." He said. Sasuke was suprised. "What did i do now, dobe?" Sasuke started to get up. Naruto didnt answer. he grabbed the door knob and slammed the door on his way out. Sasuke ran outside to catch him. "Naruto!" Sasuke yelled catching up to him. Naruto stopped. "I cant help it nobody likes me. I didnt put the nine tailed fox inside me, I didnt kill all those people the fox did. None of its my fault, but still nobody likes me, they all belittle me because of it. Just like you sasuke." Sasuke didnt know Naruto was the nine tailed fox jinchiriki. "You have the nine tailed fox sealed in you?" Sasuke asked. Naruto ignored him saying "Why did you want to hangout with me? Huh? To belittle me even more? Why, sasuke?" Sasuke looked away. "because im leaving konoha tonight. And i wont be back for a while." Narutos eyes widened. "what? Why didnt you tell me? Why are you leaving?" Naruto was now facing Sasuke. "Orochimaru has offered me more power. There is nothing you can do to stop me, so dont try. I wanted to spend my last day with you before i left." Sasuke said. There was a long pause before naruto said sadly "We arent friends. Remember, Sasuke?" and turned around to walk away. Sasuke couldnt think of any words to say. He thought the number one knuckle headed ninja would at least try to stop him. "Naruto..." Naruto kept walking. Sasuke spoke faster "Maybe we arent friends. but i wanted to become friends. And, im...im sorry for getting you upset. im not good at being social. even if we arent friends Im going to miss you." Sasuke paused. So did Naruto. "so if you ever feel like nobody likes you, and everyone hates you for you having the nine tails sealed in you.. then remember i dont hate you." Sasuke stared at his feet.  Naruto turned around. They stared at eachother for a while before naruto asked, "Want to watch the sunset at this one spot before you go?" Sasuke had that planned anyhow. "uh..sure" Sasuke said. Sasuke followed Naruto in silence until they got there. It was a peer at the lake near sasukes house. Naruto sat down. Sasuke did the same. They sat in silence for a few minutes. "Sasuke, Please dont go." Sasuke looked at Naruto. The orange light of the sunset glowed on Narutos face. Sasuke had always liked Narutos scar streaks on his cheeks. ' i just want to trace those lines with my finger tips right now.' Sasuke thought. Sasuke lifted his hand and did exactly that. His fingers, barely touching, traced Narutos whiskers. Naruto stared at Sasuke who was staring at his cheeks. The touch sent chills down Naruto. Naruto opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out. Not one sound. Sasukes finger tips trailed down narutos cheek to the side of his neck and lingered there a moment before passing his neck and meeting the zipper to Narutos orange jumpsuit. Sasuke stopped, realizing what he was doing. He pulled back his hand and turned his face away. Naruto stared, speechless. he couldnt tell if sasuke was blushing or if it was the glow of the sunset. "Im sorry, Sasuke. i didnt mind-" Sasuke cut him off. "What are you sorry for? You werent the one who did anhthing." It was obvious Sasuke was annoyed. "Sasuke, dont go bipolar on me again. Whats wrong?" Sasuke whipped his head back to look at naruto. "Whats wrong? Here ill tell you whats wrong," Sasuke said. Sasuke leaned in fast and kissed Naruto. It took a moment for Naruto to realize what was happening, but when he did, he didnt pull back. He kissed Sasuke back. Sasukes half lidded eyes shot open when he felt Naruto kissing him back. Narutos tongue swiped Sasukes lower lip before pulling away.  "what the hell was that?" Sasuke asked, stunned. "What do you mean, youre the one who kissed me ! i should be asking you that!" Naruto yelled. Sasuke glared at him. Naruto glared back. "I dont know why i did that. im sorry. but why did you kiss back?" Sasuke said finally. Narutos eyes softened. "um... i mean, i didnt dislike it. i dont know though." Sasuke stared. Naruto blushed and looked down into his lap real quick. Sasuke looked at Narutos lap too, wondering why naruto looked down like that. Sasukes eyes widened. 'Naruto is...hard.' Sasuke realized. There was a buldge in narutos crotch area. Sasuke met Narutos eyes again. Naruto looked away, and was panicing. "its okay, Naruto..." Sasuke said, noticing naruto panic.  Naruto kept still. "Please dont go, Sasuke." Naruto said, his voice lower than usual.
