Start from the beginning

"Champagne." The waiter broke up the conversation, filling their glasses with the liquid before leaving the bottle.

"Thanks." Alex smiled as politely as he could as he impatiently waited for Luna's reply. "So?"

"Yes, Alexander." She sighed. Alex's face lit up, he couldn't believe it. He finally had Luna Temple, she was his at last.

"Are you serious?" He burst, she started laughing.

"Yes, Alex. I wanna be with you too." She smiled. His mouth dropped open and his eyebrows raised in a comical way. Luna started to laugh.

"Fuck off, no way." He continued. Luna couldn't stop laughing as he exaggerated his surprise.

"Alex!" She whined with a wide smile. He stood up from his seat and walked over to her chair. She watched him as he bent down to kiss her. He held her head in his hands and kissed her as hard as he good. When he broke away, he bit his lip.

"Fuck, I forgot how good that felt." He sighed, leaning down to kiss her again.

"Um, can I get you anything to eat?" The waiter broke the two. Luna turned bright red as Alex stood up to find him standing very close to him.

"Uh, she had something on her lip." He explained as if they had just been caught. The waiter's stern face broke slightly into a smile.

"I'm sure you got it off efficiently, sir. Now, starters?" He asked. Alex sat back down and cleared his throat.

"I don't know what's good in France. Lu?" He handed over.

"Uh, well can we get some snails." She started, knowing Alex would be hilarious to watch eating them. "And then we'll each have a lobster for main." She smirked at Alex who clearly knew that was the most expensive thing on the menu.

"I'm just going to ignore that you did that. Any food with you will be worth the money." He blew her a cheesy kiss, taking the piss now and she started to laugh.

"Of course Madame." The waiter replied to Luna before taking both their menus and walking away.

"But, Alex, we need to do this properly. Like, normal dating stuff. Just because we've known each other a long time doesn't mean we know each other." She explained her hesitation. Alex nodded.

"I'm not rushing you into anything, Lu. We take this how you want it, however slow or fast that may be." He licked his lips again and sipped some champagne.

"Okay. Good." She tried to conceal her grin but Alex caught it.

"So, how's Paris been?" He asked, genuinely interested.

"I love it here. It's a lot dirtier and less romantic than I first thought but the food and culture makes up for it." She explained.

"Hopefully I can make up for the lack of romance." He winked, drinking his champagne. Luna smiled. "So, how far along are you with your culinary thing?"

"Just over half way now. I don't think I want to open up my own bakery here though anymore. I think I want to share the tastes of Paris with the rest of the world." She explained. He raised an eyebrow.

"Really?" She looked away, smiling like a child.

"So, you're recording an album. For Monkeys?" She asked. Alex allowed her to move the subject on.

"No. We're still on a small break due to Baby Helders and my clear insanity." He spoke in a sudden posh accent, waving around his glass. "No...this is a shadow puppets album." He unveiled. Luna gasped.

"Miles is here?" She asked. Alex laughed, nodding.

"Yes, Yes he is and you will see him I assure you." The way he spoke was so much more confident and sure of himself. It was extremely attractive to Luna.

"Wow, I haven't seen him in years." She placed her elbow on the table and rested her head in her palm. Alex took in a deep breath and smiled at her beauty.

"We've written the majority of the songs already, now we're recording them. I want to release them as soon as possible so we can tour them. I can't wait." He beamed energetically. She just grinned at him. "What?" He asked when she didn't say anything. She shook her head.

"Nothing...you just look great." She smiled. Alex couldn't help but feel chuffed with himself. Then, she saw a glimpse of sixteen year old Alex. His small pupils widened slightly and a small blush formed on his cheeks. Luna used to compliment him just to see his eyes do that.

"Thank you." He let out a satisfied sigh and sat back in his chair.

When they were finished with dinner, Alex paid the bill and started to walk her home. Luna couldn't look at him because she couldn't stop smiling and it was starting to hurt.

"How did you know where I was living?" Luna wondered as Alex wrapped his arm around her shoulder, leaving it loosely to hang over her body.

"I know people." He replied honestly but Luna knew exactly what that meant.

"You called my mum, didn't you?" She guessed, trying to hold back her laugh.

"Well, Luna." He sighed. "She was very happy to hear from me and i think you should be flattered by the way I went about things." He informed her. Luna burst out laughing and hit him on his chest.

"I am!" She laughed.

He walked her up to her apartment door and let out a sigh.

"I love this." He confessed as they stood outside the door. Luna couldn't help but smile.

"So do I." She agreed. "We should do it more often." She suggested. He sucked in a short breath as if he hadn't expected her to want to see him again.

"I agree." He said quickly.

"Where are you staying?" She asked for no particular reason.

"Shangri-La." he answered with a smirk. She raised her eyebrows.

"Lifestyles of the rich and the famous." She replied. His eyes widened and he let out a series of 'tut's from his mouth.

"Please don't ever quote good charlotte to me, Luna." He begged. Luna giggled.

"Do you wanna come inside for a bit?" She asked. Alex looked at her door and seemed to have an inner argument with himself before sighing.

"I shouldn't. I have to be at the studio tomorrow morning." He explained. Luna nodded.

"I understand." She replied sweetly.

Alex stared at her for a moment before leaning down and giving her a light kiss. Luna wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer so he wrapped his arms around her waist and deepened the kiss. Luna let out a small moan as he bit down on her lip and he made the same noise as she pulled his hair slightly. Eventually, they had to come up for air.

"I don't think I'll ever get used to that." Alex said breathlessly. Luna couldn't stop grinning long enough to say anything. He leant down and pecked her a few more times before finally moving away. "You have the same number?" He asked, she nodded. "I'll call you tomorrow." He walked backwards down the hall while she stood in a trance outside her door.

When he finally turned around and left, Luna opened her door and shut it behind her. She let out a small cry of joy as she squeezed her fists together and slid down the door. Alexander had come back for her.

I do this a lot in my books. This is the end of the first half of the book. I literally have thirty more chapters already written or half written I just need to sort out order and such.

I hope you are enjoying this book so far because I have loved writing it so so much. Bare with me (man), I just need to organise myself so that the next half doesn't disappoint.

Saying that, I'll probably update tomorrow or something haha.
