Since the incident, me and the kids have been staying with one of our cousins and every chance I get I cry because I know that if I cry in front of my sibling, it will make them lose hope that we're going home
So I keep my feeling to myself.
"Its ok baby, we gonna go home ok stop crying," I said rubbing jaylin

"Mom is dead so please shut up and stop crying," Jakova said
"Jakova talk to her like that one more fucking time and imma sling you ass across this room," I said
Before he could say something there was a knock at the room door
"both of y'all hide in the closet and don't make a sound " I whispered to them
They both scurried into the closet
I opened the door revealing my cousin
"Uhh get yo raggedy-ass sibling ready for dinner," She said
"Watch yo fucking mouth when you talking about them," I said
She chuckled before smacking me it took everything in me to not attack her but this is the only place we have
"Bitch you in my house tf I say what I want hoe"
I took a breath "They will be ready in a sec" I said
She rolled her eyes and left the room I closed the door
"Aight guys y'all can come out" I whispered to them
They both came out of the closet
"Whew thank God this girl was about to piss herself," Jakova said
I started laughing but stopped when I saw jaylin was bout to cry
"Aww come here, mamas it's ok," I said trying my harder to hold my laugh in
She ran into my arms and when I looked up Jakova was on the floor dying laughing

I rolled my eyes and we headed out towards the door
I held their hands as we walked to the park I saw legend he was on the swing
"Hey what you doing here" I said
He turned around and his face lit up, "Hey mamas" He said kissing me
"Ayy watch yo self," Jakova said
I rolled my eyes "Jakova go play with her and leave us alone" I said
He glared at legend before running towards the slide
I sat down on the swing and began thinking and didn't realize a tear had slipped
I quickly wiped it away and turned around
"Baby come here," Legend said pulling me towards him but stopped when he saw my face
His eyes became black and his jaw clenched "What happens to your face" He said
"Nothing I ran into some-"
"Mia don't fucking lie to me that looks like a handprint," He said
I sighed "Me Jakova and jaylin have been staying with a cousin because social services took us away from josh and" I stop my sentence

" Every time I talk back or defend Jakova or jaylin she hits me," I said
When I look up at him he had no emotion
" You're not going back to that lady's house," He said
"Okay and we're am I supposed to go because that lady's house is all we got" I said
"Stay with me, my mom like you and I'm sure she'll love the kids but you not staying with that abusive ass woman," He said
I smiled at him and pulled him into a gentle kiss
"Im so lucky to have you," I said
"Im all yours mami nobody else's," He said
Before I could say something Jakova and jaylin came running towards us
"Uhh mia the social worker is here," Jakova said
"Fuck" I mumbled and quickly grabbed my stuff but it was too late
"Excuse me shouldn't you be with Ashly," The guy said
When the guy looked at legend his expression turned into fear
"Hi I'm legend they won't be staying with Ashly anymore," Legend said
"O-ok," He said and quickly scurried away
"mia don't ask questions just get yo ass int he car so we can go home and I can sleep," Legend said making me chuckle
"We go, home sissy," Jaylin said
I sighed and crouched down "Babygirl I don't think we're going home anytime soon so let's just not think about that ok" I said
She nodded and I kiss her forehead...

She laughed "Sweetheart stop saying thank you it's no problem"
I smiled and gave her a hug and she instantly hugged me back it reminded me of all the hugs my mom used to give me but now she's gone and I'll never be able to hug her again
"Uhm I'm tired I'm gonna go to sleep," I said
"Ok I think your brother and sister in are with Riley playing the game so they should be fine"
I nodded and ran upstairs towards Legends room
He was laying down and his attention was all on the tv with no shirt on
I closed the door gently and got in the bed I sat far away from him on purpose
"Girl stop playing wit me," He said and pulled me into him
I chuckled and lair my head on his chest I traced my fingers on his tattoo
"How did you get it," I said
"My friend is a tattoo artist," He said
"What does it mean"
"Well the one you touching right now means that hiding what you feel won't help"
"Like you hide your pain," I said
"Mhmm I fell into a depressive state multiple times and I decided to keep my pain away and that causes me to become even more depressed," He said

"Hell no you ain't getting no damn tattoo even tho it would look sexy as shit on you," He said
I frowned "Whyyyyy how you get one but I can't get one"I said
He looked at me and chuckled "Fine but if yo brother kill me don't say I didn't tell you"
I laughed and kissed him...
