Answer:Make sure to listen very carefully and openly when they talk about their eating disorder. Make sure to not pressure them into seeking help, but encourage them to.
Do a bit of research to help understand their opinion, point of view and to inform yourself accurately about the issue.
If they agree to get help, offer them professional help such as a dietician and/or psychologist.
If they do not want help, try to support, talk to and be there for them. Do not put aside your metal and physical health in order to do this, but make sure to let them know that you are there for them and to be their hand to hold.
Be open, honest, compassionate and understanding when talking to them so they trust you and open up to you. This way you can truly help and support them.
