Engineer Catch-Up Part 2

Dean is 1 year younger than Stanley. Dean is a very smart but sometimes arrogant boy. He takes pride in his work and likes to think he is smarter than others. Even if he is a bit hard to be around, Stanley and Courtney are close to Dean. You and Dell love Dean so much even if he's a pain.

Your Kids' First Word

Courtney Conagher -

Courtney was sitting in front of Dell, watching him play his guitar for her. The little girl sat there completely quiet, moving her body to the music. Dell smiled at her, as he finished the song he was playing.

"Hey, Dell can you help me out real quick." You asked walking over.

"Of course, honey."

As Dell got up, he felt a pull on his pants. He looked down at Courtney. Courtney pointed to the guitar.

"Again!" She said.

Dell was surprised by Courtney talking and smiled picking her up.

"I'll be right sweetheart, I'll play again after I help Mommy."

Stanley Conagher -

Stanley was playing with his toys with Courtney. You were helping Dell with a project of his, keeping an eye on the two children. As you worked you notice the door open and Phoenix walked in.

"Hey Dell, I can't find my mask, have you seen it?" Pyro asked.

"No, I haven't but I'm sure it's around here somewhere," Dell said getting up. "I'll help you look for it."

Stanley looked up from his toy when he saw Dell and Phoenix walk by. Stanley grabbed onto Phoenix's leg.

"Phoenix!"

Dell and Phoenix stop in their track. Phoenix picked up Stanley and Stanley hugged him. Phoenix felt tears running down his face.

"Buddy, you okay?" Dell asked.

"Yeah, I'm good..." Phoenix cried. "I love this kid!"

Phoenix cried holding Stanley, Dell smiled rubbing Phoenix's back.

Dean Conagher -

Dean was being difficult, you were currently trying to get the little boy to bed.

"Come on, Dean it's time for bed." You told him turning to grab the little boy. 

Dean just kept moving away from you. You were honestly getting tired. 

"Dell, help me out." You said.

Dell quickly got up and blocked Dean's path. Dell grabbed the little boy and he started kicking around.

"Now come on, Dean. It's time for bed." Dell said.

"Nope!" Dean yelled.

You and Dell were surprised and happy that Dean talked but that still didn't change the task at hand. Dell walked Dean straight to his room and after some more cries, Dean finally tired himself out and went to sleep.

Your Child Has A Nightmare

You and Dell were sleeping peacefully in your guy's bed. You suddenly felt the bed dip down and you opened your eyes to see Courtney's messy blonde hair.

"Courtney, baby are you okay?" You whispered.

She didn't answer you, she just started to cry. Courtney's crying woke Dell open and he instantly went into protective mode.

"Sweetheart, what's wrong!" Dell asked.

"I had a nightmare!" Courtney cried hugging him.

"What was it about?" You asked.
