(Ok, before we start, just know that, at the time I wrote this, I was like, 13. I know parts of it are cringey, while other parts are down right crappy. All I ask is that you all please be kind, and if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything or make any comments on it. Just wanted to clarify that. And yes, I'm well aware that my version of gender fluidness in this story is NOT what being gender fluid actually is. Think of it as, what some people called it, 'magical gender fluidity'. Just wanted to clarify a few things.)

Yuuri's POV

They all hate me, I know it.I thought to myself. Ever since Makkachin died, everyone's been acting cold to me. I can't say I blame them, I mean, it is my fault Makka died.

Flashback

It was a beautiful day outside, so I decided to go out for a run. "Victor, I'm going out for a run!" I yell. "Ok, be safe, my little piggy." he replies. I roll my eyes at that comment. As usual, Makka ran up to join me as I closed the door behind me. "C'mon boy, let's go." I said. Makka woofs and wags his tail. He reminds me of my old dog, Vicchan. We were running our usual route, to the Ice Castle and back. We were crossing the street, nearly to the other side, when I heard the honking of a car horn. I look to my left, and a car was headed straight towards me, showing no signs of stopping or slowing down. I felt like a deer in headlights, I was frozen. Suddenly, I felt something push me out of the way, just as the car was about to hit me. When I looked over, to my horror, there was Makkachin, laying on the ground, bleeding heavily. He pushed me out of the way. I scramble to my feet and run over to him, sobbing. I've already lost Vicchan, I won't loose Makka. With trembling hands, I pet Makka. "Good boy." I said. He gave one last whimper, before going completely silent. That's when I start bawling. I picked up the phone with trembling hands, and dial Victor's number. "Hello, Yuuri." Victor picked up. "Victor... There's been an accident." I sobbed. I explained what happened. He was silent for a moment. "Yuuri..... It's not your fault ok. Makka... he chose to save you, ok? I don't blame you for what happened, and neither should you. Tell me where you are, and I'll pick you up."

It's been two weeks since then. I decide to head to the Ice Castle. "Victor, I'm heading to the Ice Castle." I yell. "Mmm." was all I got. I look over, and he is texting someone on his phone, and he is smiling. I guess that he's having an affair with some hot lady or whatnot. I sigh and head out the door. When I arrive, I see Yuuko and Takeshi. "Hey, guys." I say. "Hello, Yuuri." they both respond, cheerfully. "Are you here to skate?" Yuuko asks. I nodded. "Well, here you go." Takeshi hands me a pair of ice skates. I head into the locker room, where I see Yoshi Mayonaka. He is  another figure skate I met awhile back. He's a very, very nice guy, but he does get a little too close to me for my comfort. "Hey Yuuri" he said. "Hey," I reply. "What's wrong? You've been kind of down lately. Is it the 'incident'?" he asks. I just nod. "C'mon, let's go skate, and we can talk it over."
