"Hey Tae~" I looked at the desk beside me. Of course it was her.
She had on the most hoe looking fit she could find today. A bralette that exposed most of her boobs but a thin jacket was over it and some short biker shorts. Jayla was darkskin and yeah the bitch was fine but I wasn't just a fuck stud, she has no type of soul, no personality.
"What do you want Jayla" she smiled
"I can't just talk to the most beautiful person alive" I rolled my eyes and went back to my phone
My phone vibrated. It was from Ronnie, I smiled and opened it.
Ronnie💕: You still comin over?
To Ronnie💕: Duh
Ronnie💕: I was jus askin fat head But Tae can I tell you smth?
To Ronnie 💕: What is it?
Ronnie💕: ...
She stared typing for a while and then stopped. I raised an eyebrow, why didn't she just send it?
Ronnie💕: Yo head still bigger than mine
To Ronnie💕: Girl😂 I'll see you after school big head
I put my phone in my pocket and I felt Jayla staring a hole into the side of my head. I looked over at her, she had taken off her jacket and facing her body towards me.
"Why you playing hard to get hm?" I looked her up and down, biting my lip
"What you mean" she rubbed my thigh
"You always mean to me, don't you wanna feel me? Just once" I looked up at her eyes
I wanted to, Lord knows I was tempted. I just couldn't do it. This ain't me and this will never be me. I pushed her hand off my thigh, faced foward and put in my earbuds. She huffed and crossed her arms, facing forward. I wanted to so bad but for some reason I couldn't stop thinking about Ronnie, I didn't know why she mattered but I couldn't.
After school
"Ronnie" she looked over at me
"Yeah?" I sighed deeply and hesitantly asked
"What were you gonna tell me when we was texting?" Her eyes widened and she looked away
"I told you right? Yo head is bigger than mine" I hummed
"You sure?"
"Yes Tae"
"So we going somewhere or straight to the house" she looked back at me
"We going to get some food first, I'm hungry" I looked at her confused
"With what money?"
"I'll pay for it, I know yo ass is broke"
"I ain't broke" she sighed
"Tae shut up and let just get the car moving." I hit her arm
"Don't tell me to shut up" she chuckled and started the car
She said we were just gonna go to Taco Bell or something, nothing special.We never listened to music, we were always talking because we're talkative ass bitches. I told her about Jayla and she told me about some dude that was trying to "change her mind". But she was still kinda quiet, she wasn't energetic like she always was.
"Tae I think I like studs" I turned to her
"Why you say that?" She sighed
"I like a stud" I smiled
"Is it that girl on the track team? Nahh the weird one that draws and shit??" She pulled into the parking lot and stayed silent
I rolled my eyes
"You suck" she nudged me
"Remember, I'm payin" I groaned and got out
She got out after me and locked the doors. I waited for her to catch up and we went through the door.
"What you want?" I rolled my eyes
"You know what I want" she looked at me
"No I don't" I groaned
"Yes. You do" she looked at me confused "Ronnie... I get the same thing everytime"
"That's all you want though?" I nodded "ok, get us a seat"
I walked over to a booth near the window. Ronnie seemed upset, she wasn't smiling or goofin around today. Maybe she just tired today but I thought we went to sleep a little early yesterday, was it me? Shit....was it actually me? Fuck what'd I do now? Was it cause I told her about Jayla? Maybe it was cause I didn't walk with her to 2nd period? I wanna ask but what if it's worse than all that?
Roo sat in front of me and got on her phone. I looked over discreetly to see what she was looking at because I'm a nosy bitch. College applications? She's applying for college. That's gotta be it, shes sad cause shes going to college. But what was so bad about that? She looked up at me and I quickly looked away from the phone.
"Can you get the napkins and sauce and shit?" I nodded and got up to get the stuff
What was she so fucking pressed about? College is great, she'll play basketball and get a degree. Maybe even get into the WNBA. I picked up some mild and some hot along with napkins and sat back down.
"What's up with you?" She furrowed her eyebrows and a worker put our food on the table
"What you mean" I took a sip of my Baha Blast
"You seem stressed" she took a bite of her burrito
"I'm good"
"You not good, what's wrong?" She put he burrito down and wiped her mouth, swallowing the bite she took
"You wanna know what's wrong" I nodded
"No shit" she took a deep breath and I drank my soda
"I like you Tae" I choked on the ship and started coughing uncontrollably
"Y-you what?" She patted my back until I stopped coughing and looked at me in the eyes
"I like you"
