Chapter 19 (Part II)

Jules walked up me and stood on her tiptoes and hugged me. After a moment, she said, "You gonna be okay?"

"Yeah. Thanks. God, that's awful. Poor dog."

We made our way to a table and got a plate of bananas. Instantly, I grabbed one, and it was one of the best bananas I've ever had. We were also given a plate of fruit and mango juice. Heath drank some, and we cheered. Elton decided he wanted to bareback a horse and Jules nodded. "That'd be fun."

As soon as we finished eating, we boarded our boat and climbed on. I started walking on a board to get onto the boat and Jules frowned at Elton and Heath before lunging at them, but not in time. Elton knocked the board, and I managed to catch myself. Jules helped me onto the boat and glared at Elton and Heath. "Careful, or I'll knock you into the water."

Once they were settled, Heath walked over to our sailor, who gave Heath the board, and Elton called mutiny. Jules was pretending to be a pirate, and then noticed a small amount of blood on my hand and cleaned it up and put a band-aid on it.

While we were sailing, Elton said he would ride all the animals. I was wondering if a donkey was a unicorn and Jules turned to me. "I can't tell if you're serious or not. Mikey would be offended."

"Mikey?" Heath asked.

"Mikey Way, former bassist of My Chem. That hurt to say. Known unicorn lover."

We saw a buffalo drinking water, and Jules, once again, was looking out into the water. I pulled her into my arms and we watched the water together.

Sam eventually took over the steering and said, "Guys, don't worry. You're in good hands."

"What is this? A State Farm commercial?" Elton asked in a sassy tone.

"Yes."

Jules turned and frowned. "Last I remember, your name was Sam. Not Jake from State Farm. Sam from State Farm doesn't have the same ring to it."

As soon as we got back to the hotel, it occurred to us that we'd missed the sunset, which Jules was sad about. Sunsets were some of her favorite things in the world. Elton flipped into a pool that was freezing. Sam and I decided to go to the hot tub, but we didn't see one.

We saw a bunch of people gathered together and decided to follow them. There was a light and sound show going on. We passed sphinxes and rams and got to another building. Eventually, the show ended, so we went back to the hotel.

I glanced at my girlfriend and said, "Wanna do a video publicizing us?"

"If you're okay with it, yeah."

I turned on my camera and did my intro. "What's up, guys? It's Colby Brock, and I'm joined by..."

"Juliet Griffin." She said. "Also known as Jules by this guy, and only this guy. So, what are we doing today?"

"We're gonna strip down and run through the streets of Egypt naked. Kidding. Family friendly."

She laughed and said, "Tell them the real reason."

"So, a lot of you guys have been suspicious and wondering if we were dating and I'm here to spill the tea. Jules, do you want to spill it or do you want me to?"

Jules pretended to raise her hand and said, "I'll spill the tea. Yes, we are dating. We've been together since July TFIL Suicide Bridge video. Wanna tell them how we got together?"

"Sure. So, if you guys remember, when we did the Ouija board, after we stepped away, it moved on its own to spell Jules and kill, I got really scared, so off camera, I called her, actually FaceTimed, to make sure she was okay, and thankfully, she was. When we got back to the house, I asked her out, and she said yes."

"After stealing my first kiss." She answered teasingly. "For those of you who forget, I'm talking about when Colby touched the fence in New Zealand."

"I said I was sorry, babe."

"And I told you if I didn't want you to, I would've stopped you."

"#Jolby!" Sam yelled, appearing behind us.

Jules turned red, and I laughed. Then, my face dropped and I said, "Guys, please be nice to her. She's an awesome person, and is one of the best things to happen to me. As she would say, it's been a wicked awesome time."

She ran a hand through my hair and said, "Subscribe to this guy for more cool content. This video was a little surprise."

"What are you doing?!"

I laughed and ended the video and kissed Jules. "We should go to bed. We've got a big day tomorrow." I edited it, since it wouldn't take long, and put it up.
