Evan's POV

As I got out of my car I headed to my homeroom.Walking as fast as possible because it took me so long to recover my feelings in the car. As I got inside the main building I looked down and checked my phone.

"you got 5 minutes evan.GO!GO!GO-"

I was dragged out of my thoughts when someone bumped into me and fell to the ground. When I looked down to see who it was I immeadently recognized the black hair with the bleached stipe and the icy blue eyes. It felt like my heart was ripped out of my chest and thrown on the ground getting kicked repeadedly. We both took a few moments to take it all in and have the universe disolve around us. Then I saw a tear in her eye as she scrambled off the floor and ran at lightning speed into a classroom.

"skylar-"

I didn't have time to think about her since the bell rung. so I ran off to my homeroom.

"skylar I still love you"

*1 and a 1/2 hours later*

After science I headed to my new locker and put in the combination my teacher handed to me They were those long lockers that could fit a whole body.

"Whole body... locker.... Skylar..."

*flashback three years ago*

I stood outside the school in the parking lot waiting for skylar.

"where the Fuck is she?!"

Since i have the same level of patience as a gold fish i headed inside where i knew her locker was. As I headed down a hallway leading to the one where i knew hers was someone from inside one started banging the locker. When I looked inside I saw Skylar. I somehow managed to unlock it after beating it the fuck up and when i opened it skylar popped out and I held her tightly in my arms as she trembled and sobbed. When I looked down on her I saw ducktape on her wrist and on her mouth. Quickly I got it all off her wrist and let her take it off her mouth.

"what happened?"

"I was walking to the parking lot to meet up with u and when i passed this little allyway and some guy on the football team put thier hand over my mouth and dragged me into the ally and he and the rest of the team they... they-"

I put my finger over her mouth and started stroking her hair when all of a sudden on the other side of the hallway that we were facing the star quarter back started walking down the hallway he was pretty happy whistling and smiling like a idiot and occasionallyy looking up nowhere and saying

"she was so hot"

but the moment he saw me and her he stopped dead in his tracks completely paralized by fear. I took this as my moment and ran up to him grabbing the collar of his shirt and shoving him against the locker punching him repeadedly until skylar came up and ripped my arms off of him grabbing my face and staring at me in the eyes and said "he isn't worth it."  then she turned to him and kicked him in a no-no area so hard i'm supprised he didnt scream, i mean if i was him i would've cried. and as he fell to the ground in shock she grabbed my hand and we headed down the hallway together.

*end of flash back*

"Damn you skylar! Why did you have to go and steal my heart?!?"

as tears started to fall down my eyes I closed the locker and headed to my next class.

"i'm not gonna let you take my heart again skylar not this time. from now on we are enemies"

i knew i was lying to myself but i had to try to hate her. for the sake of my heart and her's.
