It's the early morning and here you are packing your gym bag for the Spring High Tournament, you told Kageyama to come to your house before you guys leave to join the team. As of now you are mental breakdown, it wasn't serious but still it is something to worry about.
Your dad is right now in Tokyo for practice, so he wasn't here to stop your thoughts. So you called Kageyama last night to come over to help you calm down.
'What if I mess up and the whole team blames it on me...' you thought while packing up you bathroom essentials
'Or if on the way I get injured and the team loses morality' you thought again
This was pretty normal for you, usually when you lose a game you doubt yourself in someway, your dad told you that your mom does that a lot
The more you think about it the more it hurled your brain, you grabbed your hair trying to calm down, but it didn't stop. You were about to start crying when you hear the door being unlocked
The door opened to reveal Kageyama, he looked at you and ran over to hug you "is it that serious" he asked
All you did was nod and just buried your face in his chest. After what felt like hour but in reality was just a few minutes, you pulled away and smiled at him.
You stood up and grabbed your bag "let's go" you said with a smile. Kageyama clearly knew that you weren't okay because that smile was fake and he even knows it.
You both went to the school and met up with the rest of the team. The car ride was pretty normal, all you did was sleep on Kageyama's shoulder because you didn't have enough sleep.
When you arrived at the gymnasium, you and the team marvels at the sight of it, even if you were here before you still are amazed that you are here. You and the team went inside and got registered in.
"You match will start after an hour" said the lady at the desk
You and the team went to a corner to get warmed up, they were talking while your thoughts just clouded in your brain, your palms started to get sweaty and you started to shake a little, kageyama quickly noticed this
"Oi (y/n) come with me" he said while grabbing your hand and dragging you somewhere
He dragged you until he found a janitor's closet, he quickly brought you inside and quickly locked the door so nobody will intrude
"Are you Okay?" He asked worriedly
You quickly shook your head say "no" while tears started to fall "I am scared... scared that I will drag the team down like last time" you said while crying
He quickly took noticed and hugged you putting a hand on your head while one around your waist. Immediately when you heard his heartbeat all your thoughts vanished
"Tobio I think I found a way how to stop my nervousness" you said while still in his shirt
"And it is?..." he asked waiting for an answer
"I need you to take off your shirt" you said while looking at him, when you said that he immediately started to blush
"Just do it" you said, he quickly took of his shirt revealing his abs. You too quickly removed your shirt revealing your sports bra
"W-What a-are y-you d-doing" he asked while looking away
You quickly put you jersey on the floor and hugged Kageyama's chest, you quickly heard his heartbeat and it was fast but it relaxed you a lot. Kageyama noticed this and also hugged you. This lasted about 10 minutes when you finally spoke
"I think all my nerves are gone now" you said while looking at him in the eyes
He quickly kissed your lips locking it in to place, you kissed for a few seconds till you needed to breath. You two quickly pull out with a saliva string connecting you both, you two blush and quickly wipe your mouths
"Thanks tobio" you said while giving you a quick hug, he just replied with kissing your forehead
You two quickly put on your jerseys and before you went out the closet you quickly checked if anyone was there to which to your surprise there wasn't. You put on your jacket and walked out with Kageyama hand-in-hand.
You two quickly went back to the team, they were waiting for you two and were very suspicious
"Were have you two been~" Asked Tanaka while wiggling his eyebrows
"I needed to go and get something for a friend and kageyama was with me" you quickly lied
"So why is your jersey on backwards?" Asked Sugawara
You two blush and you quickly went away to turn it around, when you went back they were teasing Kageyama to which you giggled at
"It time to go guys" said Daichi
You quickly went to the team and locked hand with kageyama, you gave him a reassuring nod and went out to start your match against Ougiminami High.
A/n: sorry for the really short chapter, i had this idea for a long it but I didn't know were should I put it, so I decided to do it before the tournament started. Next chapter will start the matches! Arigato!
