Kanna's Play date

Kobayashi and Tohru eventually returned from the date. Though it was in the morning, (YN) wasn't too surprised to see that both women were suffering from a hang over.

Due to both of the girls being sore, (YN) was asked to walk Kanna to Saikawa's house for their play date after school.

Unfortunately, due to passing out with Elma, (YN) didn't have tons of time to enjoy the peace until Kanna came into his room and sat in front of him.

Kanna: (YN).

Kanna stared at (YN)'s sleeping form and reached over, patting his face.

Kanna: (YN).

(YN) lazily opened one his eyes and stared back at Kanna as she continued patting him. He groaned and grabbed her wrist and sat up, cracking his back and neck as Kanna stood up.

Kanna: Miss Kobayashi said you gotta walk me to Saikawa's house for the playdate.
(YN): You mean the girl that has a forehead that's brighter then my future?

(YN) was given a blank look from Kanna as she turned towards the door, mumbling something along the lines of "Don't make fun of her..." and he couldn't help but chuckle.

Once Kanna left the room and (YN) got changed, they left the house. Of course, with (YN) not knowing the way there, Kanna took the lead. Though she got distracted by every little thing.

Such as when a Cat was sleeping under a bush. It opened its eyes from its slumber as Kanna stepped closer to it.

Kanna: What's that..?
(YN): A Cat. Something that humans consider as pets.
Kanna: It's so cute (YN)! Can I have one?
(YN): Ask your Mom.
Kanna: I'll ask Kobayashi when I get back.

As the Cat yawned, Kanna reached out to hug the cat and scared it off. Leaving Kanna... less then happy.

To be completely honest, I'm surprised she didn't eat the cat.

Once the two made it to Saikawa's house, Kanna turned to (YN) and nodded, seemingly wanting (YN) to subtract himself from the equation.

Oh hell No.

(YN): Actually, I feel like I should stay a bit. Make sure you're safe.
Kanna:... I'm a Dragon, and you're a human. What will you protect me from? A bible?

(YN) suddenly glared down at Kanna, who flinched back slightly and looked down.

(YN): This coming from the one who doesn't know the difference between a Toaster, and a Stove. Lets get in.

Kanna softly nodded and knocked on the door. After a moment, a rapid amount of footsteps came by as Saikawa opened the door as her smile, and her forehead, gleamed brightly as her and Kanna's hands met.

Saikawa: Kanna! You're earlier then expected. Oh, Hello (YN)!
(YN): Heya. You two keep have fun, okay? And Kanna, be on your best behavior.
Kanna: Mhm. Absolute bestest.
Saikawa: C'mon Kanna. I got some games that'll blow you away! Have you ever played Mario Maker 2??

The door closed behind them and (YN) began to make his way back to the apartment but was caught up by Fafnir and Takiya as they held what looked to be groceries.

(YN): Heya Fellow Degenerates.
Takiya: Oh Haha. Mind helping?
(YN): Nah.

Despite (YN)'s protest, he chuckled and took some of the bags from Takiya. As they all walked towards Takiya's apartment, the three stooges talked about games that Takiya had in development.

Takiya: I'd actually appreciate it if you came over to test them with Fafnir.
(YN): Sure. I don't have anything better to do.
Fafnir: No drinking my Fanta.
(YN): Not even if my life depended on it.

Fafnir smiled as Takiya opened the front door and allowed us in.

Fafnir: Takiya, can you organize the groceries? Leave the junk foods and some soda out however.
Takiya: I'll put them in the ice chest.

As Fafnir nodded, he walked me over to their gaming and development room.

Looking around, Fafnir explained to me that while he recalled and told Takiya about some stories from when he was a dragon, Takiya would input certain elements into his games.

Honestly, (YN) couldn't help but be impressed.

(YN): So what's the Job?
Takiya: For now you two just gotta play and do whatever. Tell me if the movements are too clunky and or slippery.

The two sat down on some seats and proceeded to play.

The game seemed to be an open world game in development. Though some textures were missing and there was a bit of things wrong, it was great for the state of development it was in.

Fafnir: (YN)?
(YN): Sup?
Fafnir: Elma, Kanna, and even Tohru. Have they forgotten that they are Dragons?
(YN): Uh... No? Why?
Fafnir: Interesting.
(YN): What about it?
Takiya: Rootbeer floats?
Fafnir: Yes please. As I was saying, The two seem to obey and wish not to test you. What happened?
(YN): I don't know. I just sorta.. Maka chop their head?

Fafnir nodded and smiled softly as we continued to play the game. Needless to say, He killed me with ease.

Fafnir: It's funny how You're bad at this video game.
(YN): Oh hush. Takiya, Can I get a Float?
Takiya: Sure. How is the game?
(YN): Feels a bit floaty. Pun intended.

As Takiya chuckled, he set down the floats next to me and Fafnir as we began to play even more to check for glitches.
