"Yeosang dear."

Mrs.Kang called from down stairs. Making the boy lay down the last box which contained his belongs down in the room which he guessed was his since it was the only one left after his parents and sister brought their stuff in.

Walking back down the stairs Yeosang made his way towards the kitchen were he could see his mom was preparing lunch while his sister, Jimin, was setting up the dining table for them.

"Oh, sweaty do you mind taking the last box up towards your father and I's room, please."

Mrs.Kang stopped cooking to point at a box sitting in the living which he guessed his father didn't have time to take upstairs before he had to go to work. Once he made his way back up the stairs and made his way over towards his parents' room, passing some family picture his mom already hung up on the wall, he looked for a place to set the box. Noticing the gap by the dresser and the bedside table he gently set the box down, since he didn't know if anything important was inside, before going back downstairs.

"So how do you feel about being back?", Jimin looked at him with worried eyes. She wanted to know how her brother was taking the change after everything that happened his family thought it was best to move back home and hopefully move on with the change in scenery.

"Believe it or not, I'm actually happy. Maybe being back is a good thing." His answer was sincere and he didn't miss the smile that rose on his sister's face, but he did miss his mother's grin and the way she blinked away some tears that started to form. All she ever wants is the best for her babies, which gets her emotional when she sees her son regaining the light in his eyes slowly but surely.

His mother finished soon after that and they all sat down to enjoy lunch together.

His mother had talked about already reconnecting with some of her friends from the past, which brought up the topic of his old friends since their parents knew each other. He hadn't seen Hongjoong, Wooyoung, or Mingi in practically years. They could be doing anything right now sure they were attending school but people change in a year not to mention three. He was kind of worried seeing his old friends. Would they recognize him?

"I'm sure you'll be fine. I mean you'll be attending the same school as them not to mention Wooyoung and Yonho are in your grade." Jimin added in seeing her brother's worried expression. Since she was also anxious about reconnecting, but unlike Yeosang she kept in contact with most of her friends here and even came to visit sometimes.

Once they finished their lunch Jimin and Yeosang suggested they wash the dishes so their mother can go and rest, they knew she was the one most stressed about moving back and making sure that everything went well.

Jimin would wash a dish and then pass it to Yeosang so he could dry it then he would set it in the rack.

"So I'm going to go with you to get your schedule later since your school is close to my university. Seeing as tomorrow's Monday which makes it a good day to start.," Jimin paused for a moment before continuing, "Also how have you've been feeling."

Yeosang stopped wiping the plate at this point to glancing at his sister, who was still scrubbing the plate, before letting out a sigh and closing his eyes for a moment to find the right words.

"To be honest, I feel like this was a good choice. Here they don't know so that's already a big weight off my shoulders and I think we could all use a change of scenery."

He stopped for a second, making Jimin look at her brother's expression, it was blank but his eyes held a sort of sadness to them she couldn't describe it.

"I don't think I would be able to try to move on if I was still stuck back there. It was like I was stuck in the same routine everyday and there was no way out I had to many memories attached that place already, none of which I'm fond of, but here at least I still have those childhood memories of being with the others of being a kid with no worries."

Yeosang didn't seem to notice the tear that manage to make its way down his face not to mention when Jimin had stopped caring about the dishes and embraced her little brother wrapping her arms around him like he was her child, which she considered him to be.

Yeosang just leaned into her arms taking it all in. You just need a hug sometimes which makes him appreciate what he has now, knowing he was so close to losing it before.

Something he had learned was you don't notice how much you love something until your lose it or close to.

Moving her arms to her brother's shoulders she whipped away what were a few tears at this point and gave him one of her award winning smile, which always seemed to make him smile in return.

"How about you go get dressed so we can head out to get your schedule then we can go out to one of the cafes and get some sweets if you want?"

Agreeing to her suggestion Yeosang made his way over toward the stairs making Jimin turn back to doing the dishes. What she didn't expect though was to have arms wrapped around her.

"Love you." Yeosang gave her a quick hug then ran back up the staircase to get dressed.

Honestly the reason I got into Ateez was because when they deputed they felt so new and fresh in a way to me, not to mention my sister had been waiting for them to finally debut and she was freaking out when they actually did. Yeosang and San were the first to catch my eye though I mean could you blame me their personality are adorable if I had to put a word to it. ;)
