This is after the games. So Sting and Rogue know everything about Natsu and Natsu knows them. I was originally gonna make it as creepy as the series and make it before the games. You know... When they introduce Sting and Rouge as characters who know Natsu but he doesn't even know who they are but it's creepy enough with out that so... Yeah. Also the story gets to the point relatively quickly. Enjoy!!

"Rogue I know you're still crushing after Gajeel but I need serious help." Sting cried.

"Is it about Natsu? Wasn't our crushing defeat a kick in the teeth enough for you? It's obvious that those two aren't attracted to guys look at the blue haired chick after Gajeel, she's got him wrapped around her finger. And Natsu protects Lucy valiantly like a knight and his princess." Rogue sighed hugging Froshe close.

"I bet we can change that! Those girls can't cater to a dragon slayers instinctual needs."

"And how do you suppose we do that?"

"Well I'm all for kidnapping."

"Sting!"

"What! They'll thank us later."

"I'm not subjecting Gajeel to kidnapping."

"Well at least help me with Natsu."

"... Fine but only because you'll bug me until I say yes anyway."

The apartment building was on fire but for once Natsu wasn't the cause. Some unknown force had set it on fire and it blazed out of control. With innocent people still inside the fire spreading quicker than it could be contained and saving the trapped was more important that the long task of putting out and eating the fire. Natsu rushed inside without precautionary magic as the flames heat didn't bother him. He'd pulled out several people along side counsel rescuers, and they were about to work on putting out the fire when he heard the distressed cries of someone trapped inside. He rushed in again without thinking and the door caved in. Flames licked at his skin with little effect as he searched.

"Hello? Where are you?" He called. His vision swam and he coughed. Natsu grimaced as he realised that while his lungs were fire proof they were still susceptible to smoke. He knelt over in a coughing fit and tried searching through the blazing wreckage.

"Help me!" Cried a frightened voice.

"Hold on! I'm coming." Natsu wheezed. He found a small child wrapped in cloth crouching on the ground.

"Are you here to save me." Came a soft voice.

"Yes. Come on. We need to get out." He said through coughs.

"You sound sick."

"Smoke... In my lungs... Suffocating. Come on!" He expressed his urgency by stamping his foot.

"Your scary! I don't want to go with you." The child cried. Natsu fell to his knees coughing and held his head to try and straighten the spinning world.

"I'm sorry...Look... I won't hurt... you. I... Get... You to... Your... Mo...ther." Natsu collapsed onto the burning floor. As his vision faded to black he saw a pink frog with black spots. Natsu felt someone lift him as he faded into unconsciousness.

"Natsu's in there! You saw him go in!" Lucy cried.

"I'm sorry ma'am but no life forces have been detected within the building. Your friend has either escaped or died." The counsel worker explained for the third time.
