"Hey Felix!" Chan politely said on the way to class.
"..." Felix just looked the other way and ignored the boy.
"Oh.. Well.. Uh, what class is next?"
"Chemistry"
"Really? Gross.. I hate science, what about-"
"Chris, what are you trying to do?"
"What do you mean? I just asked a question-"
"A question you already know the answer to?" Felix looked down at the schedule Chris was holding.
"I was just making sure it was right..." Chris said getting quieter near the end.
Felix stopped in his tracks and turned around, facing the other boy.
"Listen, Chris. If you're trying to get me to become your friend again, stop already. It's not going to work. I've already forgotten everything and I'm ready to move on from our friendship. I'm sorry, but it is what it is." Felix turned back around and walked away.
"Lix-"
He turns back around and pointed to Chris. "Do not call me Lix."
He continues walking in the other direction, leaving Chris alone in the hallway, heartbroken.
Chris fell to his knees. "I just want my best friend back... Lix, I'm sorry..."
