Quick authors note: So this is a rewrite of the first chapter because I wasn't satisfied with it. I feel like my readers deserve better than a half-ass chapter made in 30 minutes. This chapter took me about a day to write and I am much more satisfied with how this came out. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I did writing it.

Ireland woke up, a cold draft filling his room. He sighed and opened one eye, his window was open and the sun was seeping into his room. He let out a groan and moved a little, his bed making a small creaking sound as he shifted his weight.

Within a few minutes, he finally got up and off his bed. He sighed as the carpeted floor scratched against his feet and grabbed his phone. He smiled to himself as his brothers had left him a few texts explaining they weren't home.

Ireland quickly checked the time after looking at the messages '12:07' his phone clock read. He smiled, knowing he had about 5 to 6 hours until his brothers came home.  He put his phone back on to his nightstand and left the room.

Ireland followed down his hallway to the living room and sat down on his black leather couch. He grabbed the remote and turned on his tv. For the rest of the day, he spent his time watching the television and every now and then getting up for a snack or to use the restroom.

He'd jump when the front door would open then slam shut. Ireland turned around and looked at the door, his brother Britain, was walking up the stairs to his room. "Are you ahkay?" (Irish accent has been activated-) He asked, his accent thick as he talked. Britain looked at hi mand glared then stormed into his room.

Ireland sighed, shrugging then getting up. He quietly went up to the top of the stairs and to his older brother's door. He stood at the door, just listening to the soft crying of his brother. He gave a weak smile then knocked on the door. The crying suddenly stopped the house silent.

" 'ey Britain? can I come in?" He finally said, holding on to the doorknob. A muffled "Yes" came from the room. Ireland slowly turned the doorknob and opening the door.

In the room, his brother laid face down in his pillow. Ireland frowned and then to his brother's side, sitting down at the end of the bed. He sat there for a bit, just letting his brother cry on to the pillow. After a short time, Ireland rubbed his back in circles, trying to comfort his brother. "Are you ready to talk about it?" He asked smiling at his brother, fully knowing he couldn't see him.

Britain groaned making Ireland chuckle. His brother sat up, his knees to his face. "Well, you know USSR?" Ireland nodded and shifted, knowing his brother had a crush on their long-time friend. Britain then went into a long explanation of why USSR was the reason why he was crying. (I ship Britain x USSR okay?) Ireland just sat on his bed, listening to his brother.

After about an hour later Britain had finished his crying. In the end, Ireland had learned that USSR had told him that he had had a crush on the Third Reich not too long ago. 'Of course' Ireland thought ' Just another one of these stupid situations of Brit thinking the wrong thing. ' He sighed and got up. " Well Brit, how about one of my soups? Those seem to cheer you up. " He smiled at his brother and walked over to the door.

Britain nodded and flopped on his side and went back to crying. Ireland sighed and left the room, then started his way to the kitchen. He passed through the living room, all of his brothers already there. Wales looked at him frowning "Britan crying again?" Ireland nodded then went into the kitchen.

Ireland, out of all of his family was the best cook. He was able to cook pretty difficult dishes from all around the world and they wouldn't taste that bad. He sighed and grabbed his apron that said  'Shut up and let the Irish cook' which always made him smile. He went over to his domain and went to work on cooking.

After a few minutes, most of the household had collected in the kitchen to watch their brother do his work. Once Ireland had finished his cooking, a pot of Irish stew sat on the stove with a wonderful aroma filling the house. He grabbed a few bowls and filled them with the stew. He turned around to see his brothers already at the table, looking very hungry.

He'd chuckle then pass out the bowls and went to get cups of cold water. he gave them the food and water then went upstairs to get his brother. He smiled and knocked on the door "Hey Brit? Time for dinner." He moved away from the door as it quickly opened then and a hungry Britain rushed down the stairs and to the dining room. Ireland chuckled and went down to the kitchen.

Ireland sat in the living room with all of his brothers. England on the floor watching TV with Wales by his side and Northern Ireland sitting on the couch. Britain was on the love seat on his phone scrolling through something. Ireland loved these moments, just these moments in time were his family was all together and doing something that didn't include fighting.

Ireland yawned and pushed himself off the couch. Northern looked at him confused " What are you doing?" he asked Ireland. "going to bed." He rolled his eyes then walked to his room. He sighed and shut the door.

Ireland went over to the window, making sure to shut and lock it then flopped onto his bed. He let out a small groan, too lazy to change his clothes he just fell asleep right there.

A little boy held a white flowering clover to a much smaller boy, surrounded by fluffy bushes and a beautiful evergreen colored grass. ' ' Thank you Ire! ' ' The smaller boy smiled, a blush dusted across his face.  The taller boy smiled and held the boy's hand and kissed his forehead. ' ' You don't have to thank me! ' ' The smaller boy's blush became quite heavy. His face was practically red.

The smaller smiled up at the taller and gave him a small peck. The taller blushed and surprised the smaller by kissing back. The little boy gave a small squeak and pulled back, being a giggling mess. That's how the two spent a few minutes, just giggling and blushing.

But all nice things must come to an end...

Loud shouting was heard in the distance, the smaller looked at where the source was coming from then back at the taller boy. The smaller had fear-filled eyes as tears started to fill them/ The taller frowned and kissed the smaller again before pulling him along. They ran along the bushes trying there best to getaway. The taller looked behind him and saw 2 older and much larger boys yelling and chasing after the two.

The taller boy looked down and tripped, scraping his arm and the two falling down a hill. The 2 older males made there way down the hill. The smaller looked at the other boy and frowned. He kissed him and got up to run again. Before running he looked back at his beloved, who had tears spilling down his face. ' ' Irey, don't cry okay? I promise I'll be okay, I won't let them hurt me.' ' That didn't help the boy, him still crying but nodded weakly.

Ireland shot up, tears running down his face. His heart was racing, his face a bright red. It took him a few minutes to calm down and get all the tears out. That was the fifth time Ireland had had that nightmare this very week. It was really starting to get on his nerves, he had to find a way to solve this.
