"So that's what Miss (L/N) was talking about." Connor murmured.

"What (Y/N) was talking about?" Hank suddenly questioned.

"The android broadcast... She told me about what happened before anyone else." Connor said. For a brief moment he thought this may be the right moment to give you a hand about your insecurity issues. "Can I ask you an off-topic question, Lieutenant?"

"Ah shit, here we go again... What is it?"

"Miss (L/N) and I had a conversation recently..." The android started. "She explained why she got suspended from the police. Don't you think it's a bit... odd... for Captain Fowler to suspend her for such a thoughtless mistake?"

"Uh, she stopped talking about this a long time ago." Hank said. "And, look, everything was fine until you two met... Why would you bring this subject about her all of the sudden? Are you interested on putting her back to work or somethin'?"

Connor had to choose the right words to answer Hank, he was talking about what it appears to be a sensitive matter. So the android chose to be ethical. "I think she's very... knowledgeable. I've never seen someone as determined as her before, so I think she'd be a great bonding connection partner... for both of us."

"Yeah, right..." Hank scoffed. "Let's get back to business..."

A few hours later you were doing homework on your desk, you bedroom door was closed even unnecessarily. It was a big homework, since you can't bring android parts home you have to study them by using the boring anatomy graphic on the book.

Something reminded you about earlier, how encouraged you were and how coward you got at the same time back at the station. You furrowed your eyes; Connor advised you to talk to your godfather, the person you know since you weren't even born, how couldn't you simply talk to him? He was the one who had "the talk" with you, and he was the one who had to deal with your first period. Silly, right? But, well, if it wasn't for that cop who interrupted, maybe Hank would've trusted you and let you join the police again, or he would've shouted at you for getting on his nerves again.

It's been quite a while since you left the police station, it was really cold outside so you didn't even dare to step out of your cozy house. You grabbed you phone, searched in you contacts and then called Hank.

It took a few seconds for him to answer. "Hey, Uncle Hank." You smiled when you heard his voice. "How's the Stratford investigation going?"

"It's... complicated. We managed to investigate the area and a deviant popped up. But that's all I'm going to tell ya."

"Oh, so it's solved? Good..."

"Well, yeah, kinda. But, um... Somethin' weird happened... Kind of shocking, I dunno. But it was weird."

"What do you mean 'weird'?" You questioned, then Hank explained --tried, at least-- what happened several minutes ago back at the TV tower. "Wow... that's, um... Can I... Can you pass your phone to Robocop real quick?" You rolled your eyes as Hank scoffed through the phone. "No, I'm not gonna chit-chat with him... Alright, alright... Can you at least tell him to come to my place when he's available? Okay... Thanks, Uncle. Bye."
