Chapter 17 Reunion

‘I know it’s only been three days, but I missed the fresh air on my body’ I thought. 

I looked down.

I saw the beautiful field of flowers from last time.

I immediately transformed into my bipedal mode and landed perfectly on the ground

“I think he said that he was going to be here in five minutes, right?” I asked.

I waited there for five minutes then heard footsteps and immediately looked back.

“Hey, Smokescreen” I said with a smile.

“Hey, Snow” he said with a sad expression.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.

“My team” he replied.

“What about your team?” I asked.

“They keep treating me like a rookie” he replied.

“Mmm… but aren't you the rookie?” I asked.

“I am... but I hate it that they keep shoving it in on my face” he said.

“I’m sorry to hear that, Smoky” I said.

“Nah… it’s fine” he said.

“Mmm… anyway, what do you want to do to pass the time?” I asked.

“I don’t know… I just really needed something to talk with that will stop treating me like I’m inferior to them” he explained.

“I know how you feel” I said.

“Really?” he asked. I nodded.

After that…

We ended up staying there talking with each other about random stuff.

“Smokescreen, could I ask you something?” I asked.

“You just did” he said. I smiled.

“Omp… very funny” I said. 

“Nah… really… I have a question” I said.

“Mmm… go on” he said.

“The thing is… have you ever been in a situation where you need to choose between two serious situations and if you choose the wrong one then you or someone really close to you might get hurt?” I asked.

“Mmmm…. I don’t think so” he replied.

“Oh” I said.

“Why?” he asked.

“Well, you could say that I'm in a situation like one “ I said. 

“Mmm… just listen to your spark” he said.

“Huh, my spark?” I asked.

He nodded.

“I always do that” he said with a smile. 

I smiled but then noticed that it was really late.

“I need to go” I said.

“Aww… but we were having a great time” he said.

I laughed.

“I’m sorry, I really need to go” I said.

“Fine” he said.

“See you later” he added. I nodded.

I immediately transformed into my alt-mode and left.

I made it back and noticed that my sire was waiting for me at the entrance to the flight deck.

“Sire?” I asked.

“Mmm… that was way too long for a flight” he said. I gulped.

“I’m sorry… ” I began.

“Where were you?” he asked.

“I got bored and visit earth's landscape” I replied.

“Mmm” he replied.

I could immediately tell that he was not convinced. 

I really was nervous. 

“Um… with your permission, I would like to go to sleep” I said.

Sire nodded and gave me a goodnight kiss on the forehead.

I left the flight deck went back to my room and sat on my berth. 

‘Omp… that was a close one’ I thought.

“I need to be more careful next time” I said out loud.
