Them or Me? ( Chapter 1 )

  It was a typical day for Eren. Wake up. Get dressed. Eat food. Practice singing. And then go to a small building where Eren and his band called, 'The Titans' would preform their songs for a small audience. The most of the audience consisted of depressed teens and young adults, ya know... all of the people who enjoy some Alternative Rock and Death Metal to keep their emotions hidden in their music taste. However, Eren didn't mind. As long as the audience seemed to be enjoying themselves, he was fine with whoever was there. His guitarist and best friend, Armin, was very supportive of Eren's decision to make a band. However... Eren's family was the opposite. In fact, they practically begged Eren not to make a band; And although Eren never found out why, he didn't care and still made the band.
Now- it wasn't because Eren was dumb and needed education. And it wasn't because Eren needed to make money. Eren was a very determined and strong-willed person, and he was smart too. Not to mention he knew how to stand up for himself. So Eren just guessed that it was because his parents were embarrassed to have a son who was noisy and had a band that was mainly for teens his age. Oh- and by "His Parents" I mean.. His mom. Eren's father left when Eren was very young... so Eren hardly knows anything about his dad. All he knows is that his dad was some well-known doctor who had a mysterious past. So... after awhile Eren grew hatred at his dad for leaving his mother to fend for herself and her kids. See... Eren wasn't the only one in his family. His sister, Mikasa, used to be very close to Eren. However, their relationship quickly turned sour once Mikasa started dating a guy named Jean. Eren and Jean hated each other. And Jean picked a fight whenever he could just to get under Eren's skin. Soon after, Mikasa started to act more and more like Jean, making Eren seethe with anger; And ever since Mikasa moved out to live with Jean, Eren hasn't once spoken to his sister.
Anyways, enough of the backstory. Eren and his small band with Armin, Reiner, Bertholdt, Connie, and Ymir soon became popular among the teens in their neighborhood. Causing them to grow quite popular over the years... that was until one day when Eren got some news from his mother.
