You wake up looking at the blue sky. Butterflies swarming above you, some getting on you. You giggle as you observe them. You suddenly hear a loud explosion from the distance
Joseph: Something is coming
The butterflies fly away as you stand, seeing the fiery cloud of smoke go into the air. You're standing in shock
Joseph: Another Wrath
You smell smoke behind you so you turn around and see buildings, trees, and cars on fire
Joseph: They will destroy everything we built
Joseph suddenly appears, walking over to you
Joseph: And only you can stop them
He takes your hand and puts something on it. You look. It was the badge that said "DEPUTY" but this time it added "DEPUTY ROOK"
Joseph: They will try to take you away from me. They will try to get you on their side. They will try to turn you against us and make you slaughter us. Slaughter my children who only want nothing more than to live
He makes you look at your surroundings
Joseph: Do you see what's upon us? What Wrath will do to this world. God is tired from all the Greed, chaos, and death. He wants to start over, that's why he chose me. To protect and save as much as I can. He chose you to do the same. And this...
Suddenly your surroundings turn into clear skies, grass with flowers blooming off them, birds flying in the air. The tree from the bliss was behind Joseph
Joseph: This is how it will all look when we reach it. We will start over, we will make it right just how God wants it. We will live in peace
"Amazing Grace. How sweet the sound"
You turn around. There were people everywhere holding hands while singing
"That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now am found. T'was blind but now I see"
Joseph grabs your hand and leads you to them, singing along
"T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear. And Grace, my fear relieves. How precious did that grace appear. The hour I first believed"
You make your way to the people as they split in a line and let you pass
"Through many dangers, toils and snares. We have already come"
Each person you passed placed a hand on yours and Joseph's shoulder. Joseph smiles at you as you stop in the middle. You're suddenly wearing a white dress
"T'was grace that brought us safe thus far"
You feel hands around you and are lifted in the air on everyone's hands
"And grace will lead us home"
They start moving you around like if you were crowd surfing at a rock concert
"And grace will lead us home"
You see the tree from The Bliss as they're leading it to you
Joseph: But there will be tests
You suddenly fall to the ground. You stand up. You were back in your normal clothes, everyone except Joseph was gone
Joseph: It will not be an easy one
The tree sets on fire
Joseph: You'll even go through pain, agonizing sometimes
Your markings catch on fire. You start yelling in pain. You felt rage boiling in your blood. You clentch you're fists as you growl. Joseph walks over and hugs you. The flames disappear but smoke was coming out of your markings, still feeling the burn. The rage is gone. Tears are streaming down your face from the pain. You grab onto Joseph and start crying
Joseph: And after all the pain you endure, I'll always be here for you. To help you. To comfort you. To love you like I do with my children. You are not alone anymore my child. You can trust me because I trust you. I believe in you
He places one hand on the back of your head and the other on your cheek while leaning you back
Joseph: But you have to believe in yourself. Do not let guilt, self hatred, insecurities and low self esteem beat you. Let me wash them away
You grab his hand and nod. He moves his hand that was on your cheek to your chest and lowers you. Water suddenly rises as you're put under. The cold soothing feeling made the burning stop
Joseph: Let it all wash away
Memories flash before your eyes of you hurting yourself
Joseph: Let it all go or else...
You're forced up at the surface. It wasn't Joseph holding onto you, it was John
John: Or let Wrath consume you
He forces you into the water
John: And let it all burn!
The water begins to turn red as the rage and pain come back. You see yourself holding a gun and shooting anyone in your path. Your blood is boiling, markings are burning, teeth clenching together. You growl as you continue your rampage until someone hits you in the head with the end of a gun. You fall to the ground as the room is black and empty. You hear a familiar whistle as Jacob Seed shows himself. You try to get up but he puts his foot on you and presses you back down. He smirks at you
Jacob: Or you can be the weak little sheep you are
He points his gun at you
Jacob: And die
*BANG*
You quickly wake up breathing heavily. You look around and realise you were in your room so you take a deep breath then put your hands on your face. You were dripping with sweat, hands were shaking, and it felt like your heart was going to explode
Joseph: Nightmares huh?
You jump again, looking as you see Joseph sitting down. Guess you didn't see him
Joseph: Don't be alarmed, it's just me. My children said you were growling and screaming so I came
He gets up and walks over. You get out of bed and hug him tightly, shaking and crying. It catches him by surprise but he hugs you and rubs the back of your head
Joseph: I tried to wake you up but...
He shows you his hand, it has burnt lines on them
Joseph: God didn't allow it so I watched
You touch it
Joseph : I have them to
You look up at him
Joseph: They are messages from God. Gives us hints on how to fulfill our purpose but shows us what'll happen if we fail. They are terrifying and they will not stop
You let out a whine. He lets out a smile
Joseph: Luckily it's not all the time. Come on let's get you back to bed
He leads you to your bed. You lie on top but at the edge of it. You didn't want to be at the spot you were before. The door opens, it was the doctor. She had a bowl in her hands
Doctor: Here you go Father
She gives him the bowl. You look and see cloths soaked in water. He sets it on table, squeezes one of the cloths real good and puts it on your forehead. It felt really soothing that you close your eyes to relax from it. Joseph then puts the other cloths on your chest and around the back of your neck. You eventually fall asleep
Joseph: Have you gotten the results back?
Doctor: Yes and it's exactly what you expected
He smiles
Joseph: Very good. Now, we must be patient
