Great, another flashback. The same one everyday.

Lena is staring out to National City during evening rush hour sitting in her chair while holding a glass of bourbon.

The doors to her office open as her assistant Jess walks in.

"Ms. Luthor, your 3:00 is here" Jess holds her tablet waiting for the cue to let the visitor in.

Lena continues to stare at the city. Not a word...all you could hear is the chatter through the city.

"Ms. Luthor?" Jess says. Lena snaps out of it and turns her chair towards her.

"Yes. Jess, I'm so sorry." Stuttering over her words.  "Send them in and take the day if you want. That'll be all."

Jess escorts a sharp, older gentleman into Lena's office. Lena walks down the two steps from her desk.

"Hello, thank you for taking time to meet with me Lena..." So much for being a gentleman. "...I'm so glad we could speak on this initiative for National City." shaking hands with Lena the man smiles.

"Likewise." Lena smirks at the man. "I'm sorry I didn't quite your name?"

"Jason Deetrex." He fixes his tie. Lena walks to her desk. Deetrex follows behind.

"So tell me about this initiative." Lena opens the case file that was given to her.

Deetrex begins talking. Lena starts reading through the packet while Jason is talking in the background talking about the stock market. Lena comes across the chemical equipment used for the initiative and she doesn't like what she sees.

"I'm sorry Jason correct me if I'm wrong but the equipment is heavily leadded material. And you want to put these out in the city?" Lena says shuffling through the papers.

Jason plays with his wedding band and then presses a button on the ring.

"I'm sorry but I don't think I can be on board with something like this." Lena disgusted by the whole thing, she's furious. Jason just sits there. He rubs his neck and presses down on a chip implant.

"Oh well may I direct your attention to the ways that this will save tons of lives." Jason studders. Lena in complete shock he said that.

"Lena..." Jason stands up and kinda lean a small bit forward. Lena has her left hand next to a button under her desk. She presses that, help is there.

"I beg your pardon but I don't think you quite understand simple things such as lead poisoning. And it is Ms. Luthor to you." Lena's fingers move closer to the button.

Jason stands there in shock a woman corrected him. Suddenly the security alarm goes off. Lena presses the button.

"It's a shame..." Jason stands up and buttons his jacket "my men will swarm this place in seconds..." Jason grabs a chair and walks over to the office doors. Lena steps up and to the side of her desk slowly . "You know you need to have better security in a building like this." Jason chuckles as he whips out a baton. Lena smirks "Actually funny you should mention that. I just updated my security system." Lena grinning ear to ear.

WHOOSHH! a red and blue blur flies through the balcony windows. It's Supergirl. Jason in an awe of fear and drops the baton. Suddenly the office doors slam open. D.E.O agents come barreling in threatening to drop his weapon. Alex comes walking in guns at the hip. "Jason Deetrex, don't move". Jason puts his hands up. D.E.O agents kick the baton out of the way and make Jason drop to his knees and is cuffed by agents and then escorted out the door.

"Are you okay Ms. Luthor?" Supergirl looks over at Lena.

Lena wiping her sleeves. "I'm fine. Thank you Supergirl". Lena looks over at Alex " And thank you Director Danvers." Alex nods.

"Anytime, what happened if I may ask?" Alex holsters her gun.

"Mr. Deetrex tried presenting me with a project involving heavily leadded material to spread throughout the city. I have his file over here." Lena walks over to her desk and brings the case file over to Alex

Alex opens the file is a set of plans involving the material and have it powered by a particular element: kryptonite.

"These plans have a list of elements I've never seen before. Im going to run them through our database. We have to stop this and fast." Alex signals to the agents to leave.

"Thank you aga.in Alex." Lena smiles and Alex leaves. Supergirl heads towards the balcony and flies

"Kara." Lena says to herself while holding back tears.

Kara flies through the city while trying to hold back tears.

Lena knows...this is the one time Kara wishes she didn't have super hearing.
