Despite the lulling rumble of the train, I stayed up to continue talking. "Uh... so what's your thing?" Lavender questioned hesitantly. "My thing?" I had no idea what my thing was. "Uh... well... the reason you're here," Lavender explained. "Oh. I have erm... S-s-splitpersonalitydisorder" I said in a rush. "What didga say sweetie? We won't judge you." Thalia reassured. "S-split personality disorder." I whispered. For all my life I've learned to be ashamed of who I am. Now I'm not!? I didn't understand. "I have ADHD. And hallucinations." Lavender said with a shudder. " autism and anxiety here" Sam offered. Mateo raised a hand and let a small smile spread across his face. "Depression" he said simply. We waited in a tense silence waiting for Thalia to share. Finally Lavender broke the silence and asked " sooo... what 'bout you Thalia?" She pursed her lips and looked away, silent. After a long, awkward silence, she whispered hoarsely "I don't want to talk about it." We all lapsed into a dim mood. I studied the other children on the train. There was a group of girl in the corner sobbing. A boy writing something on a price of paper. Maybe a final letter to his family. The rest of the children stared at the ground, numb and disbelieving that they were in this situation. I didn't blame them

A sudden stop brought us all forwards, crashing into each other. The sobbing girls shreiked and pounded on the door.
I grasped for my new friends, and made contact with a small hand. Lavender. she gave me a grim smile and squeezed by hand tighter.

the door opened to blinded us all with the peircing rays of the sun. i instinctivly covered my eyes, blinded by the harshness of the light. a gentle voice suddenly whispered in my ear, " open your eyes. its okay, we're here for you." i uncovered my eyes slowly and hesitent. as soon as i saw lavender smiling at me i blushed. to avoide further embarrasment, i scurried away to join Mateo, Thalia, and Sam. There was a man in a stark black uniform, pitch black sunglasses, and a menacing smile. "C'mon freaks," he ordered, we all stumbled out, not wanting to displease the man. we all stumbled clumsily out, trippin over our own two feet. i jumped onto the gravel, not even taking notice of the peircing pain in my foot from the gravel.

and  then, sangre de caido.

------------------------------------------------

Sangre De Caido was built in 1994 by Doctor Robert T. Fullman, who  named it the institution for 'the mentally unstable'.  After it's consuruction, there were few to go. within the first year though, there were thousands. Jenna Fullman being the first to go. yep, doctor fullman,s  own daughter.  soon it was buzzing, the biggest talk of the whole country. she went in, and never came out. no one knew what happened. i guess i was about to find out.

harsh is the only word i could use to describe it. well, also evil, horrible, blinding and looming, but that's just details. I glanced at Lavender, her eyes gleaming and lips pursed. She offered an hesitant smile and we stepped in.

Sorry I was gone for so long and this is short. I mean like
