My dearest friend,
If you have received this, you are probably mourning my death.
Please don't let your last memories of me plague the great times we've shared. Although our time was cut short, we fought hard and strong. It's a shame cancer doesn't reward perseverance.
Your support made my numbered days worth living. Everything was a little brighter when you were around. I could remember that I was more than someone who was sick. I could remember who I was before the chemo.
For that, as my final wish, I ask you to accept my invitation.
Inside the envelope is a plane ticket to a 7-day all-inclusive resort in Peurto Vallarta, Mexico.
The past few months have been taxing. You deserve a vacation. I hope this time spent in luxury will be relaxing
Maybe you will find something else you didn't realize you needed.
Love always,
Charlie
