Hello and welcome to The Art of Red!!! BEFORE YOU READ PLEASE READ THIS LITTLE NOTICE.
First I am very excited to be finally, finally showing off this book!! I have been writing this for a long time now and I think I am finally ready to start publishing chapters.
So I know a lot of people want to skip this little before hand message but I have somethings that I just gotta say before we get started.
Since I know some of you might be a little impatient (which is good because that means you wanna read my book XD) I will put a little star next to the things I really want you to read!
*1. If you want to know what year this book takes place, there is a very simple answer! It does not take place in our current timeline. Now it is not present day in a different universe, so if it helps I drew inspiration from 1600s-1800s. Now at points there are girls wearing shorts and bras. If you think its weird and not correct for the time period my answer is "oh well". I really hate the stereotype that if I give a book a time period (lets say like 1967) that I have to stick to everything they did then. I give reasons to everything that happens and there is a reason behind shorts and bras so if you don't like that I don't do everything from the 1600s-1800s correctly, then I'm sorry but you won't like this book.
*2. The religion in this book is not any preexisting religion. All of the Gods and Goddesses in this book are my creation and are not Greek, Egyptian, Norse, Roman, and etc.
3. If you're curious, I use a lot of things from Latin and French languages. The houses, gods, and other things in this book are named in Latin or French, so if you're curious what it means then try looking it up!!
4. I will give you a list of all the houses! I know there are a lot of them and it is hard to keep track, I have a list of them to help myself! So if you need to you can always refer back to it!
*5. Every so often in the book I will give you a new character list of all the characters you have met so far. I understand it can get confusing to hear names that you can't remember who they are or what they did.
