Brennen was the first to enter, then Elton, then Jay, and then Jules and I. Elton started explaining the ropes and how it meant that someone had recently died.
It was also raining, making it worse. Jay noticed a ribbon, meaning, as Elton had said, that someone recently died.
I noticed a skull and Elton started freaking out, wondering if it was human. Jules knelt down next to the skull and studied it. "Relax, babies. It's a deer skull."
Elton scared us even more by saying we'd see something tonight. Jay's eyes trailed to the ribbons and then he told us he heard something.
We were surrounded by the forest and I grabbed Juliet's hand to ease my nerves. Brennen, Jules, and I heard a growl and Jules instantly hid behind me as though that would protect her. After a moment, Elton heard the same noise and demanded we stop moving.
Elton asked if we wanted to stay overnight and if we were trying to find something. Jay said that if we found a ribbon, we should follow it. Jules instantly shot him a glare. "Absolutely not! That's how we die!"
There was an umbrella that caught our attention. I asked why we were doing this even though I already knew the answer. It was for the damn YouTube views.
We continued walking and came across a ribbon and Jay said, "The person who left this ribbon is probably dead."
"You're probably right." Elton agreed.
I crouched down and said, "I think I saw something moving."
I then stood up and pointed to the noose below my foot. Jules noticed a snapped branch and we kept seeing more ribbons, meaning we had to follow them. Elton told us to stay together; as if we wouldn't. "Guys, there's someone in here."
Another rope appeared and we followed it. Jay said that tonight would change our lives and that we'd see something we didn't want to see.
I wanted to go behind the rope, but was pulled back by my girlfriend. Brennen said that I would be the white kid who'd die because of some stupid shit like going into a roped off area in a known forest where countless people have committed suicide.
Jay told us that if one of us suggested splitting up, he would kill us. I don't think any of us would. Elton was talking about if we found a body then stopped. Something in the screen had caught his eye.
Elton focused on the rope and told us it was a plastic, nylon ribbon that seemed it'd been there for awhile. Jay noticed a candy wrapper and said it could've been someone's last meal. He freaked out about something and then said that it was a tree that looked like a decomposing leg.
I started walking, holding Juliet's hand behind me, and we walked closer to the rope. Once again, Elton said he didn't care how much he was cursing.
Elton suddenly told Jules and I to step back and we did so. He said we would find a body and pointed out the rope and then made an interesting point; people were keeping themselves in and others out. Brennen saw a second rope. Our flashlights did shit. No one wanted to see a body. Elton then said he would blur a body if it came up on camera.
Brennen got weird chills as Elton's words clicked. Jules stepped back and said, "I refuse to go in there, Uncle Elton."
He sighed. "Juliet, you've got to go in there. We need content. We'll all keep you safe, okay?"
We stepped behind the rope and stayed to the inside of it. The terrain instantly got harder and I took my girlfriend's hand. Something caught my eye and Elton figured it was trash or a tent. He determined it was a tent and called out, "Hello! Konichiwa!"
