Elton nodded. "Yes you are. I'll force you."

Colby rubbed my back and said, "If it makes you feel better, I'll be your buddy."

"That doesn't make me feel better, but thanks. What happens if we see a body?"

Elton shrugged. "Then we see a body. We'll be okay."

Colby's POV:

Jules was clearly terrified, and I kissed her hair. "Stay near me. I'll protect you, okay?"

Her eyes were wide as she glanced at me and nodded.

Suicide Forest

After dark, we arrived at the forest and Jules had a death grip on my hand. I honestly didn't mind her clinginess. She's not a clingy girlfriend, and I liked that she trusted me to protect her.

We did Elton's intro, and he told us we were here because the channel had gotten 250,000 likes and then mentioned how we'd had McDonald's as our last meal.

We reached the entrance to the forest and noticed a rusting van parked in the far corner. Elton pointed out an infrared camera and I heard a heavy sigh from my girlfriend, so I squeezed her hand.

At the forest entrance, there was a sign that he guessed was the suicide hotline number. Jules took the opportunity to say, "Guys, please. If you feel the need to harm yourself or kill yourself, please get help. There are people who care about you. We all care about you. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here. Send me a DM if you're thinking of suicide or harming yourself, and I'll do what I can to help."

Brennen then pointed out the number of deaths, and Jay said that they stopped counting because the number had gotten so high. I heard a sound and instructed people to turn off their flashlights and noticed Jules refused to turn hers off. I reached to do so and earned a smack on the hand.

Those of us who had turned off our lights got chastised by Elton and Jules hissed, "Cole, touch my flashlight again, and I might just sacrifice you to the forest."

Elton then wondered if we had security following us, but we didn't think so. During Brennen's Ouija board video, I started feeling sick, and Jules placed the back of her hand on my forehead. I took her hand and held it.

Brennen's coin was lost, and we tried to go back and look for it. Jules and I were the only safe ones, as I had said goodbye and she hadn't played.

We'd also lost the knife, and Jules held up a knife. "Don't ask."

Elton had packed the knife for safety and told the viewers it was the first time we'd brought a knife to a location.

Unfortunately, it was gone. Jay told us he was worried about the paths looking the same and Jules scoffed. "Please don't say that. I don't want to get lost."

It was also mentioned how we'd brought 500 feet of rope to help us get back. Elton then mentioned how much he was cursing and how he didn't care.

I picked up a note with a question mark. As soon as I found it, Jules coughed and frowned. I looked up at her. "What's wrong?"

She shook her head. "I'm not feeling well all of a sudden. Don't worry."

I took her hand again and nearly ran into a giant spider web. I yelled, as Jules walked to the other side of me and pulled me away from the web. We noticed a deer, meaning there were predators here. Elton asked if Jules and I had our whistles, and we did. My voice was shot. Jules coughed again, and I was worried how harsh it sounded.

We got to a sign and tried to figure out which way we should go. The lake sounded like a bad idea, so we went the other way.

Eventually, we reached the end of the public trail and Elton said that he hadn't seen a sign warning people about suicide. Jules bit her lip and said in her messed up voice, "Either it's in the forest, or there's none."
