"I've never been a fan of maintaining tradition. Besides, something blue is on the list, so it counts." She takes a deep breath and her father knocks on the door.

"You look amazing. I'm not ready to give you away yet. I just got you back." He says with tears in his eyes as he walks over to his daughter. My uncle remains in the door way letting the two of them have their moment before also approaching my mother. He looks at me while he waits.

"You look nice. I like how you choose to wear pants to a wedding. I'm being genuine about that too, by the way." He says. I think he's still nervous about being around me, not quite knowing how to be an uncle just yet.

"Mom and I agreed that if I have to wear a dress later, she's ok with me not wearing one now

"Mom and I agreed that if I have to wear a dress later, she's ok with me not wearing one now. Besides, she's not a fan of tradition." I say and smile at him. He smiles in return and goes to hug his older sister.

"You look magnificent sis. I'm sure you'll be a wonderful Alpha Female. Dad, are you ready?"

"Mom. It's time." I say and hug her.

She takes a deep breath and the arms of her brother and father as the music begins. We're starting as a human wedding so that Cole can introduce his wife as the Alpha Female of the pack. He's a little bit excited in case you couldn't tell.

She takes a deep breathe and the music begins as she turns the corner to the chapel. I walk behind her and carry the train of her veil, watching as Cole takes a deep breath and slowly start crying as she walks down the aisle. He's got a giant smile on his face and you can see the pride that shines in his eyes as his blushing bride walks towards him for forever. I know that my own mother wears a smile as she walks towards the forever that the Luna above promised her. The sun shining through the large windows in the chapel are proof that the Luna is pleased with this union. We make it to the front and the priest begins the ceremony.

"We are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Cole Peck and Ari Mora. Who is it that gives her to this man?" The priest begins.

"Her daughter, brother, and I." Grandpa says with tears in his eyes. Each of the boys kiss her cheeks and hand her over to the man of her dreams.

"The words that will be spoken here today are significant, though they are not what join these two. Nor is it this ceremony. For we are not here to mark the start of a relationship but to recognize a bond that already exists. Cole Peck and Ari Mora have already joined themselves together, and we have gathered to bear witness to the love that has grown between them."

"We are here to witness their statement of love and commitment. This is an act as ancient as the human race and, at the same time, as new as each morning. For it speaks of the past and hopes for the future, of the life of the individual and the existence of the community. Marriage is a going forth; a giving up of one way in search of a greater fulfillment than either can achieve alone, risking what they are for what they might be."
