Goodbye

"Arrgh!" Levi says.

"Why do you even care?!" Lucy asks.

"Because we're nosey! Who does Maddy like?" Levi asks.

"I honestly don't know! But, guessing from her behaviour tonight, I have a pretty good guess." Lucy grins.

Everyone looks at Alex.

He shrugs, "I work out!"

We laugh.

"What about you, Luc?" I ask.

"Theo James." She laughs.

"Ew! You fancy my Uncle?!" Levi shrieks.

"I forgot he was your Uncle!" Lucy laughs, "Sorry! Okay then, Dylan O'brien."

"He's like my bestfriend!" I smile.

"Oh yeah! I saw that in a magazine! Bromance, huh?" Lucy teases.

"Maybe.." I joke.

"Okay, well night lads!" Lucy says standing up.

"Night Lucy!"

"Goodnight"

"Nighty night." I say.

Lucy leaves.

"Wanna stay here tonight?" Levi asks me.

"Yeah, thanks." I reply.

"Okay, I shall get the blankets." Levi says before getting a few blankets and handing them to me.

"Thanks." I say.

Alex is clearly very sleepy, he nodding off leaning against the door. When Alex is sleepy, you can almost get him to admit to anything, it's a bit like being on the truth serum in Insurgent.

"Alex," I say.

"Mmm?" He mumbles.

"You fancy Maddy don't you?" I asks.

"Yeah, yeah she's pretty cute." He says sleepily.

Levi grins at me.

"Night An." Levi says before guiding Alex off to bed.

The next morning I get awoken by a loud knock at the door.

Levi doesn't wake up, nor does Alex so I open it.

Skye stands there. She's wearing sweats and is carrying large suitcases.

She looks up, "Oh hey Ansel." She says quietly.

I step out the apartment and close the door behind me.

"Hey. I just wanted to say, I'm sorry. I feel as if I was a bit of a jerk and hope we can be friends." I say.

"Thats okay. I just need space." She says.

"Where are you going?" I ask looking at her suitcase.

"England..Im staying with my Uncle Theo." Skye explains.

"Theo James?" I ask.

"Yeah. You've been in a few films with him, I know." Skye says.

"So..you wanted to speak to Levi?" I ask.

"Yeah. Could you get him for me?" She asks.

"Sure." I say and walk back into the apartment.

"Levi, your sisters here!" I call.

Levi emerges from his room a few moments later. "She's outside the apartment?"

I nod.

"Okay." Levi walks out.

Sally's Pov:

"I'll put the kettle on." Maddy calls while Lucy and I sit Skye down in the living room.

"Why are you leaving? And don't lie to me." Lucy says.

Skye looks at her then sighs, "My life's a joke and I'm not even laughing anymore."

"Why's your life a joke?" I ask.

Skye scowls at me slightly. Or I'm just paranoid..

"I have no money, I lost my job, Me and my 5 year long boyfriend broke up, I don't have many friends and since all of my issues are my fault; I hate myself." Skye says looking at her lap.

"Okay, so how does leaving solve all this?" Lucy asks.

Maddy walks in with a tray of cups of tea and sets them down.

"Just to get away. I'm tired of this place." Skye mumbles.

"Right. Isn't your biggest fear that one day Levi won't be able to handle it, and don't forget he went through the exact same experiences as you, and he will break down and go to turn to you for help and you won't be there?" Lucy asks.

Skye pauses. "I'll always be there and we didn't go through the same thing at all. I mean the whole thing that happened between our parents effected us differently. Levi's better at handling stuff than I am. I suffered with depression, and anxiety as a child. Levi only suffered with mild depression."

"Okay what's your biggest fear?" Maddy asks.

"My biggest fear is one day being as oblivious to my child's suffering as my parents were to mine." Skye says.

"How'd you know you had all these mental illnesses then?"

"You can do online tests." Skye explains.

We all nod.

"I'm just gonna say, you're wasting your time. If you're trying to convince me to stay that is." Skye tells us.

Lucy shrugs, "Okay, you should probably go then."

Skye gets up and leaves without another word being spoken..
