"I'm just tired." You looked up at him, then stood up. "So, what do you think? Was it good?"
"I think it was..." Connor verified his choices to find the right words. " Enjoyable. It was something new to learn, and i thank you for that... even if that may be not be useful in the future. You're a very skilled person."
"Is Cyberlife makin' really brown-nosed androids, or is it just you?" You chuckled.
"I did what you asked." Connor said. "How would you rate me?"
"Yeah, you got the moves like Jagger..." You shrugged. "But something is missing... You need more... passion."
"Passion?"
"It's hard to explain... especially for a machine." You said. "You can imitate my moves but it won't be the same if you're not really... enjoying what you're doing."
" I understand..." No, he don't. Connor doesn't understand how passionate people can be with their hobbies, since he doesn't have any. But he liked to dance, at least.
"Well, time to go." You picked up you bag. "Would you mind walking me home again?"
Connor stayed silent for moment, but accepted it anyway. You both traveled the streets together until you got home. The night has come, so it got colder than before. You felt the small snowflakes sprinkling over your head.
"So..." You felt a little bit awkward. Since Connor danced, like you asked, you thought it would be fine to invite him inside. "Would like to come in? .. It's pretty cold here outside."
"I don't think i should..." Connor politely responded.
"Do you have anywhere else to go?" You softly asked, wondering if got any investigation to solve.
"Not at this moment." He said. "But... I think Lieutenant Anderson wouldn't be happy if he knew that i'm with you right now."
You rolled your eyes in some sort of frustration. "What is he gonna do? Ground me? .. Don't worry... I'll tell him later. C'mon in." You gestured to him to follow you.
You opened the door, facing your warm, comfortable home. You stepped aside to let Connor have his way in. Connor has never entered your house before, he only knew how it looked like on the outside, but on the inside, is very warm with a welcoming energy. And it's been a while since you let a man get in your house that is not your godfather. But Connor is no man, is he?
"Don't mind the mess..." You murmured, even if your house was spotless clean. "I'll make myself some tea, if you don't mind."
You hanged your jacket on the coat holder, then walked to the kitchen. Connor followed you, he sat in the dinning chair and watched you prepare your favorite type of tea. As you waited for the water to boil, you glanced at the android. "Would you like something?"
"I'm sorry, Miss (L/N)" Connor responded. "But androids can't eat nor drink."
"I've got some tricks in my pocket." You smiled. Connor saw you opening the fridge and grab a bottle of blue blood, there was a few on the side shelf.
"Why do you have Thirium inside your fridge?" Connor questioned as you poured the blue blood in a glass.
"Cyberlife gives the students these free samples sometimes. I think it would be a waste if i just threw them away... Luckily it became handy." You said, handing the blue blood to Connor. Seconds later the kettle started to sizzle, you rushed to serve yourself some delightful tea. You sat in the chair opposite Connor, and raised your teacup against his glass. "Cheers!"
You took a careful sip of your tea so you don't get your tongue burned. "Why would Cyberlife give blue blood samples to DUAT?" Connor wondered after drink half of the Thirium.
