Rise of the Forbidden

The Cobra Part 1

Viper's POV

It all started when I ran into the new girl. She looked mostly normal, but a guy kept following her around. That was when I saw his eyes. He had onyx eyes with a silver lining, and four of them. I wanted to ask him, then I realized I was already late for class.

"Excuse me Miss, would thou be so kind as to show thee where Biology class is located? We seem to be a bit lost," a soft, wise voice said.

I looked into her silver and gold swirled eyes and replied with a,"Sure."

I led the girl and strange boy into Bio, and took a seat in the back where they joined me. When the teacher stepped out for a moment, I took the chance and asked the girl if she was dating the strange boy.

"Holy Hera, no darling! He's my brother!" the girl said.

"Ohh. Well, what's your name, then?" I replied.

" Heidi. Heidi Queens" she replied with poise. " And thats thou brother, Weaver Lydia. We took thy mother's last name."

"Cool," I said with not a lot of interest, "By the way, nobody on the entire planet uses old English. That's, like, so five centuries ago."

"Six, actually." she said

Then, I swore she mumbled something under her breath about back in the day. When was she even born? More thoughts swarmed my head like why did the boy have four eyes? Why do they look so different?

Time skip to lunch (YIMMMMM)

Here we go again, I thought as I saw the bully, Amelia, walk up to me with a sneer on her face.

"Hey, you! Give me your lunch money!" she yelled at me.

I sat there as she stormed up to me, when suddenly I hear,"Why is thy trying to thieve Viper's lunch money? Don't they have their own?"

I looked up to see Heidi pointing at Amelia, with a more defensive posture than normal, and one hand on her necklace. Out of nowhere, Amelia brought out a sword and said," I've heard about your kind. The gods are sick of your kind."

Heidi then pushed me behind her and had a arrow notched, and Weaver was by her side with two daggers. They emerged in a fight. As I started feeling useless, my braid started to unravel into three cobras, hissing and growing by the second. Heidi then turned to check on me, and Amelia took the chance and cut her side. That was when I lost it.

With Heidi down and Weaver assisting her, Amelia looked me in the eyes. I released all of my emotion into a power I had just discover, and she turned her to stone.
