The monster within

The beginning.

Sweat was dripping off my forehead and decorating the ground as I finally reached my destination; I'd used all my energy to get to this point and I just wanted it to be over. I had finally come face to face with the demon that had haunted me for so long, ripping every ounce of happiness that I had away from me, tearing my life apart like it was ripping a piece of paper, but so slowly you wouldn't notice until you saw that giant slice down the page and you couldn't fix it, and I was sick of it.

I wanted this to be over.

For good.

After a few more minute of walking- well I don't even know if I walked I just opened my eyes again and I was here, more confused than ever- I could hear the wretched thing muttering slowly to itself, whispering my name over and over and over until it became really quick and so loud my ears started ringing. Suddenly, its bright yellow eyes shot over in my direction and just stared at me, and if looks could kill, boy I'd be dead on this floor right now.
It then did something I will never be able to get out of my head.

It smiled.

But slowly, and it was so creepy, the way it's teeth were all crooked yet in the perfect position to rip a person to tiny shreds in one swift motion. And then  it started walking towards me.
I couldn't move,no matter how I hard I tried to, and it was just slowly advancing towards me. I was getting frantic now, not knowing what to do, so I screamed for help until my lungs were about to burst.

But then I heard shouting, someone had heard me!
I called back, but they just kept shouting my name and they wouldn't stop and it was burning a hole through my head a-

'Cecilia!'

Oh.

It was my mum.

I woke up and checked the time, 7:10. Crap. I was gonna be late, again.

I really don't know where I was going with this but I'm starting to get an idea so yeah
