11 | The Iron Wall

At the same time Shoyo, Daichi, and Asahi rush forward while kageyama started to toss. Date tech confused by all the three attackers moving all at once and doesn't know who to block, but since they thought that they would probably throw it to Shoyo so he runs in front of him.

As Shoyo starts to falter and drops as you appear behind him. You jump down the path that Kageyama created for you and spike the ball, pushing pass their defense and finally see the other side of the court.

Your eyes widen and you just stand there trying to process what just happened, after a few seconds you snap out of it and see the other members running to you and celebrating with you.

But still you guys haven't won yet and so you stopped and focused on what's ahead of you, and what you could see was a Giant Iron Wall

Right now you switched with Tanaka and are currently sitting with Coach Ukai because he asked for you to evaluate.

You see that Tanaka scores, bring you guys closer to match point and also you can see that Shoyo is improving at his blocks and is able to do one-touch Aone.

When sitting you can see that your opponents are still worried about Kageyama and Shoyo even though they haven't done anything and puts two blockers at the front of them.

'This is good if they keep on panicking in weather or not they do it, we can do other stuff to win' you thought

You saw that one of their players had done their receive wrong which made you guys win the set, surprising the onlookers.

"Hey coach I think that it will start to get harder when the second set comes up, probably that big guy over there will improve his block reads"

"That is exactly what I was thinking" he said while holding his chin

"Everyone Gather up!" Everyone went to the catch and you

"We have to change our strategy for the next set, we have to make sure that their eyes aren't set on Hinata"

"And plus let's not let Shoyo have all of the burden! We are a team after all" you said

You and the team went back on the court and you were next to Tsukishima

"Hey four eyes, I kind of envy you for facing him more than me" you said while smirking

"You think I care" he said coldly

You looked at your opponents and you can see that their confidence didn't change

'Looks like they won't back down that easily' you thought while smiling like an idiot

The match continues on until Date Tech has to force a timeout. After you rested, you went back into to court ready as ever

The next move, Aone tried to do a quick but was stopped by Asahi and Tsukishima block. As of now Karasuno is in the leading but Date Tech is close behind.

Karasuno reaches match point. Shoyo was switched with Noya while you were in the vanguard. Before Shoyo leaves he says that he is confident that we will win which boosted your confidence.

You started to run for the toss that Kageyama was about to do.

'I need to break through. I need to show that I am not just a weak burden to the team' you thought while jumping

Unfortunately you got blocked and was about to hit the ground but Noya saves the ball at the last second. You look at Kageyama signaling him to try one more time, to which he nodded

You try again but the toss was too close to the net. Aone pushes the ball back over to your side and just as when everyone expected it to fall, Noya the savior he is reacts instinctively and receives it with his foot

"(Y/n)!" You look and saw that, Hinata and Sugawara and the rest of the team were yelling

"ONE. MORE. TIME!" They all screamed

You looked over at Kageyama which immediately made him blush but understood what to do. Even though everyone knew that it was you Kageyama still tosses it to you

You see the ball coming while the blockers jump you looked and saw I small opening that is hard to hit though but you tried

As If slow motion, the ball comes and you change your hand slightly, and with all your might you hit it through and the ball shoots through their arm and finally hitting the floor

You finally land on the ground and heard the referee whistle indicating that you guys won the match

As if instinctively you ran over to Kageyama and jump to give him a big hug, at first he was stiff but hugged you back

"Thank you" you whispered to him

You and your team went in line to shake hands, when you went back you could hear a familiar voices, you look up and saw your old team (the girls team) shouting

"You did Well (y/n)!" To which you smile at them.

While walking back you hear a ton of girls screaming, you turned your head and saw Oikawa and his team. You look at the score board and saw that even at the first match they are already beating their opponents

'Shit! This isn't going to be easy' you thought while walking inside
