"Attention students. It has come to my attention that not only have social groups formed at our wonderful school, but that some of them are, in fact, waging war against each other; this is unacceptable. So, to remedy this social division, there is a mandatory, school-wide, lock-in this Friday. You will be required to bring your essentials and entertainment. This is non-negotiable, anyone who fails to attend will remain in in-school-suspension until the end of the month. Have a good rest of your day."
As soon as the intercom clicked off the classroom was filled with groans and complaints.
"Way to go, Blonde Bitch. You've condemned us all." I snapped at Clarisse.
"All I did was make a suggestion, I didn't force him to take it."
"Of course he took it! You're the poster child for the perfect student! You should've kept your mouth shut!"
"You're just pissed off because you have to socialize!"
"I don't socialize and I happen to enjoy the fact that I'm misunderstood and an outcast. I'm fine with it."
"I think 'misunderstood' is a bit of a stretch. Don't you? I understand you perfectly."
"You think you understand me? You don't know anything about me! Don't judge my life by the chapters you're familiar with. If you knew half of the shit I do about me, the brick you call a brain would fucking explode!"
"Then you can enlighten us all this Friday. You just volunteered to go first when we reveal secrets from our past."
"I didn't say I was going to participate in your shit storm. Have fun Blondie, but I have better things to do."
" 'Anyone who fails to attend will remain in in-school-suspension until the end of the month.' "
"Fuck!"
