the wind whisps through my hair. the blue moon shines in the sky illuminating the hedges as I pass. The smell of Evergreen trees faint in the air. This is the only time I can be calm, the cool night air bitting at my skin. I stop running, you don't really have to run at night, I feel calm for once. I walk calmly trying to memorized the ever growing maze for when the day comes, prepearing myself to run with the rising sun.
"Help, Help me!!!!! IS ANYONE THERE!! PLEASE I CAN'T CONTROL IT!! WHERE AM I!!." The voice screaches throught the maze,"PLEASE I DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!WHY AM I HERE.... WHERE IS HERE". the noise echoes around me seeming to come from everywhere... the black birds start to rise into the sky swirling into a spirling, black, mass in the sky... listening to the manic voice. They dive. Straight towards a spot in the maze. I need to find out whats going on. I start to run, logically figuring out where they could be going and how to get there.... the're at the pond. I take a sharp right and then a left reaching a calm clearing. the moon directly ontop of a weeping willon, the leaves falling gently into the pond water bellow. The constant breeze rippling the clear water reveling the beautiful sliver, grey and golden koi. The serenity of the view destroyed by the mass of black in the branches of the tree.
"YOU MEAN NOTHING ," the birds screech,"WHO NEEDS TO CARE ABOUT YOU, NOT EVEN YOUR DAD LOVES YOU". The little girl just sit there silently crying, to tired to fight back. I creep quietly behind the biggest bird. I grab it's neck in one sweeping motion, I look straight into it's eyes."love stop this it's night... my time... your birds ruin the senery. the birds collectively screach and fly into the bright moon..."Thank you... can you tell me how to get out of here... I was just doing my job, and your punishing me for it," the bird in my hand crumbles into ash. Great, just great, fucking love .
