The Friendly Date part 1

John's POV

"WE'RE GOING WERE?" I basicly shoted into his ear.

"OUCH! THAT WAS MY EAR YOUR JUST BLEW INTO PIECES." he yelled holding his ear

"Well maybe you shouldn't say things like that when you don't mean it and I wouldn't have yelled I mean don't you have a girlfreind." I said looking over to see if he was still rubbing his ear which he was

"I'm sorry?" I said looking down into my lap trying to avoid his face even though I knew he wasn't looking because he was still driving.

"There is no need for you to say sorry It's fine but I meant what I said when I said we were going on a date."

my face turned red at his words did he really mean that. Of course he means that I brushed aside my thoughsaside my thoughs and turned my attention back to Jake.

"Why are you doing this?"

"What do you me-"

buzzzzz,buzzzzz

Jake was interrupted by his phone going off

buzzzzzz,buzzzzz

"Dammit!" he pick up his phone and turn it on cringing at the screen after seeing who it was. He droped his phone back from where he got it from and continued to drive

"Are you going to answer that?" I said

buzzzzz,buzzzz

"Nope"

buzzzzz,buzzzzz

"Why not it might be something important."

"Trust me its note anyway it's a little late now it stopped ringing so there's no point in me cal-."

Buzzzzzz,buzzzzz

"CRAP!" he yelled reaching for his phone

"WHAT, WHAT DO YOU WANT...driving...I can't right now I'm busy...I'm out with a friend...what are you talking about I never spend time with you I spend time with you everyday and I got out with a close friend for a day and you get upset...what are you talking about no I'm am not...whatever I have to go bye."

Jake hung up and grow his phone in the back set from frustration and anger.

"Who was it?"

He sighed before answering my question "it was Jackie."

I stared at him with a blank expression plaster on my face.

"What?" he said confused by my expression

"You say Jackie right?"

"Yeah Jackie Harris captain of the cheer team why do you ask."

"Are you two dating."

"Yeah you didn't know?"

"NO,No I didn't you never told me."

"Oops well yeah we're dating."

"Oh...ok"I slowly crocked

Jake looked at me from the corner of his eye for a few minutes before returning his gaze back to the road. He stared at the road for about a few minutes before speaking

"What with you you seemed upset about something."

"Hm...oh...nothing" I lied

He sat there sill staring ahead not say a word. after about ten minutes the car finally came to a stop jake pulled the keys out the ignition. I reached to open my door but stop mid track when I hear the sound of the car doors locking and a hand grab my wrist and yank me in the other direction.

"OUCH THAT HURST."

"Then tell me what is wrong with you and I will let go."

"I told you I am fine nothing is wrong now let go of me."

I attempted to pull away but with no use well it was to be suspected since he is apart of the football team."

"LET GO JAKE THIS IS NOT FUNNY."

He lean forward until his lips we near my ear.

"Then tell me what's wrong so I can fix it." he said whispering in my ear causing me to turn bright red which me must have seen because I watched a grin began to plaster actions his face through the rear view mirror. I dropped my head in defeat.

"I was upset beca-" I was soon cut up by Jake's phone going off he turned his gaze to his phone a cursed under his breath a reached for his phone in the back seat with his free hand to make sure I don't leave without an explanation.

"What now Jackie...I told you I'm out with a friend I can't come over...wait just because I'm out with a friend and I won't I can come over you accusing me of cheating on you we just started date like what two-three weeks ago...whatever I'll call you back later."

Jake touched his phone screen ending his call and shove his phone down his back pocket and returned his gaze to me

"You were saying."

"What was is saying? I forgot what we were we even talking about." He chuckled slightly at my words before speaking

"Nice try what was it you were upset about."

I gave a big sight before continuing"I was upset because you didn't tell me that you had a girlfriend now...I though I was your best friend...and yet you didn't tell me. We sat in there with him still holding my wrist for what felt like hours until he finally released his grip on my wrist and allowed me to return to my seat.

"John." He said in a low tone but it made me jump as if he screamed it.

"Y- yes."I stuttered over my words but managed to get out.

"I'm sorry." he said louder than before
I turned to meet his gaze but his head was slouched down to where his hair covered his face. "I didn't know you wanted to know you seem like the person who wouldn't want to here stuff like that...but I promise to tell you next time so please...don't be mad at me." He lifted his head and turn his gaze towards me hi face blank of any expression.

"It's fine I'm sorry I brought it."

"No it no ok I should have told you need to know I didn't think and now your upset I'm sorry."

Great he isn't listening how am I'm going to get his attention

"I'm so-" I slapped him before he could finish his sentence.

"OUCH THAT HURTED." he grab his cheek to soothe the pain that was now visible by the red mark on his cheek

"Well maybe if you listen to I wouldn't have done that; know like I was say it is ok I don't mind but next time something like this happens please tell me ok."he looked down back at his lap before nodding in agreement. "Good now can you tell me were we are." he looked up from his lap and turned his gaze to me with a smile plaster to his face.

"Like I said were going on a date."

"Yeah I got that but were."

"The fair...did you not look outside yet."

I turn to the from of the car to be met with flashing lights a giant amusement ride.

Great we're at a fair one place I don't want to be I hate public places like this and Jake knew that why did he bring me.

"Ready?"

"What?" I said now rejoining reality

"Are you ready?"

"Yeah I guess"

"Lets go then."
